It's actually kind of odd that the Olympians fear them, given that the general trend of Classical Mythology is that the younger generations of deities are stronger than their predecessors. Ouranos was surpassed by his son Cronus. Cronus and the Titans were defeated by the Olympians. And Zeus took a lot of precautions against the same thing happening to him.
The only older deity that commanded the Olympians' fear and respect was Nyx. As for Chaos...in the original myths Chaos arguably wasn't even sentient.

Disgusted, but not surprisedIt's not entirely clear what Chaos even does, tbh. He is the patron of the primordial state of existence, which renders him somewhat without a job in the present - a status he seems pointedly aware of in his conversations.
Though I guess you could make the case that his realm is the foundation on which the rest of reality sits, I prefer to think of him as the God of Watching the Other Gods and Rolling His Eyes.

Speaking of gods who don't do anything...poor Zagreus. The only deity with no known domain to call their own.
This is true of his original Orphic counterpart too - while we know of his existence, we don't have enough records to indicate what exactly he was a god of.

Disgusted, but not surprisedThis is kinda a general mythology question but I wonder what would happen if someone mixed all 5 of the Underworld river waters into the same cup and drank them. (It'd probably depend on the status of the person in question) XD

If you got any questions, we can answer. I found it pretty intuitive but I've been playing for ages so I don't even remember what confused me at the start other than the skulls on some doors (it means there's a miniboss or elite encounter but the rewards are better).
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.The game doesn't explain a lot of the collectibles or advanced mechanics right away, if at all sometimes. Partially because Skelly is the primary way it informs the player about such things, and you can only talk to him once per run.
You don't get movement guides for your weapon until you meet Skelly (after your first run), also.
The only essential tip I can think of for someone just starting is to hold onto your nectars and try to gift one to each character first, then build a deeper relationship with characters, so you can get the keepsakes. Get Skelly's first.
My first keepsake was Skelly's, but then I got Cerberus's and never took it off except for a quest that had me wear something different. XD
The Protomen enhanced my life.A patch is coming out
! This one sounds fun.
• Fixed event requirements for Final Boss acknowledging if you can get there without Olympian Boons
Also, Hades said something snarky about my redecorating, which is kinda a running gag, and I was like 'I didn't ask you, DAD!' at the game XD We especially have a thing going on where I buy tons of rugs and he gets more and more frustrated. It's so funny!

The Protomen enhanced my life.I'm now at the point where I can consistently reach the final boss, but I'm still having trouble beating him and escaping. But I think that might be because I've been prioritizing fulfilling prophecies with my boon and hammer upgrade choices over effectiveness. This, even though most of the "Get these boons from this god" or "get these upgrades for this weapon" award gemstones, and I don't see any more non-cosmetic rewards at the House Contractor. I guess it's just the completionist in me.
I also have a question. Do alternate aspects of weapons count separately for bounties (For example, if I defeat a Fury with different aspect of the sword, will I get another Titan Blood?), or do I have to rely on the Wretched Broker or endgame shop to get more of them?

Chaos is also a primordial being who precedes the universe. To them, this whole escape stuff and Olympian drama is just quaint. Ascribing morality to them doesn't make sense because Chaos is the embodiment of both nothing and everything at once.
