> Explore around for stuff to do
The true power of us human beings is that we can change ourselves on our own.Felicity Leander AKA Panthera (Spottedleaf), you have the following Skills:
- Agility: Before the cat transformation, you had to be very agile for the heists and all. +1 to agility actions (also dodging).
- Stealth: Also needed before to steal stuff. +1 to stealth stuff.
And these powers:
- Cat Girl Mode: The form you were stuck on after touching that statue. Has a few powers:
- Feline Reflexes and Physique: Cat powers! +1 to agility, speed, balance and climbing actions. You are also a bit more durable, have a strong bite and can hear more too.
- Night Vision: Oh, and cats also see in the dark. This power is useful when fighting some person in the dark or when you don't want to put the lights up.
- Retractable Claws: Also, claws. Claws are good and cut.
- Feline Reflexes and Physique: Cat powers! +1 to agility, speed, balance and climbing actions. You are also a bit more durable, have a strong bite and can hear more too.
Equipment:
- Pepper Spray: Just in freaking case. You get weird looks because you look like a cat, and some creeps might approach you.
- Cat Gold Necklace: Bought this a few weeks after stopping. It's kinda pretty and nice. You try to ignore it's a cat face.
You are at the Moosefield Gas Station, where you work. The radio of the car you are helping to recharge is on the news.
Turn 1
Meanwhile, elsewhere...
Alberto (Afters)
You drag your large lumber block into the workshop. The other students have several things too. Nerdy Sasha is working in a statue with a bunch of textures. Cool Quinn is working in a painting with several perspectives. And Hippie Sam is doing... whatever he's doing. You think it's an sculpture. Whatever, you're working in your wood.
Yves (Bais)
You are playing "What goes around..../....Comes around" in your double bass. It's a good song, and you are playing it nicely. Some people give you some coins.
You gained: 5 dollars
Kenneth (GCB)
Good. The next stop is the Helios Museum of Science. The "2 days without supervillain attack or robbery" sign is there, next to it. It's obvious it's been fixed recently, since a few nails are sticking out.
Ro (Tre)
"Plants, algae, bacteria..." Prof. Raymond's weak point in teaching Science is organic stuff. Sure, chemicals and elements are cool with him, but let him teach anything organic, and he sucks at that. You wonder why.
Trevor (Taco)
Roll to order Frappuccino: 1
Ouch. Not only you fail in ordering the Frappuccino, the waitress has spilled a coffee in you.
Roll to dodge the pain: 5
It's ok, it's ok. It was just an iced coffee and you didn't burn yourself. And the coffee you get is on the house now. Sure, the person the spilled coffee was for yelled at you, but does it even matter when you're writing your review?
Diniel (Johhanes)
Roll to patrol: 1
Your phone falls off your hand and is going to crash in the pavement (and maybe hit someone) if you don't save it.
Roll to save your phone: 1
The dice gods are being rough to you. You crash into a bird that delays your flying down. Your phone is broken now. How did you have one though?
The Sun King (Dubh)
Roll to move aside: 1
The dice gods are feisty today, huh? You fall down when you try to move aside. It was a children's slide anyway. Oh, and the kids are staring at you now.
Radley (Puma)
Well, there is a man in armor in the pavement next to the slide in the park nearby, and the kids are staring at him.
Budi (Fury)
Roll to give a massage: 2
The GM starts crying. You don't succeed on giving the customers the best massage they'll ever have. No tip for you.
Steve the Rock (Zorua)
Roll to go out and give cotton candy: 2
The crying increases. You went out, but there weren't any kids to give cotton candy to. And you can't eat either.
Allen (Mysky)
Roll to explore: 1
The GM contemplates giving fudgerolls, but they're illegal. Some punks find you before you get to stand up. They seem to hate everyone and are extremely hostile.
Encounter roll: 5
The GM's crying continues. The supervillain known as Blizzard has stolen an artifact from the Helios Museum of Science and is flying towards the center of Helios City to submit the city in an eternal winter. Felicity hears the news in the radio. Kenneth is literally next to the museum. The park the Sun King and Radley are is near the center. So is the cafe Trevor is in and the bench Allen is sitting in. Steve hears the Awesome Super Team's alarm. Urquhart University is also near the center. Budi hears a coworker say that there is a supervillain outside. Yves and Diniel are farther, but the storm clouds are seen in the horizon.
What will you guys do?
If there's a book you want to read, but it hasn't been written yet, then you must write it. Toni Morrison>Give the cotton candy to my teammates instead, then use super speed to go to the museum and intercept the villain
Well, that’d be jus’ a waste. Why would ya want to deprive the world of such anomaly as yourself?> Stay unbothered by the storm clouds.
> pack up for the day
One day you're here, baby / And then you're gone.....> Find an excuse to leave mid-shift, then head towards the museum.
Lovepilled and Hopemaxxing>No use in making conversation, this first part is gonna be noisy.
>Begin carving out the basic structure with my school-sanctioned chainsaw.
she magnificent my bastard till i complete on her monster>Get back into the air
The thing that was gonna be powerful, then not, then powerful againThe Sun King would, in most circumstances, be utterly fascinated by Radley. My, what a wonderful piece of technology! It seems these humans are coming closer to the magnificent machinery of his homeworld every day.
Unfortunately, just as he's about to express his interest a presumably ice-themed figure soars past the park, making a beeline for the city centre. Curses! A supervillain! No time to marvel at technological advances, he must stop this fiend!
Oh, the staring? Eh, people stare at him all the time. He barely even notices.
> Charge off to follow Blizzard. You may not be a Flying Brick, but you still think you can get there before whatever plan he's concocting has fully unfolded.
be nice to benjamin it's not his fault he got beat up by a microbeThis stuff again... well, not my forte, but stealing from the science museum... there's, like, a 2 in 3 chance this is part of something greater. Eh, as long as I don't get caught doing anything, I think I'll live.
>I drive the bus to the city center.

TRS Wick Cleaning"Another day, another dollar..." I mutter to myself as I try to finish up with my work...
>finish recharging the car, then listen to the radio more intently

You’d figure that there wouldn’t be so many curriculum-mandated class choices after undergrad, Ro thinks, getting distracted from the end of Raymond’s lecture by the black clouds swirling in the windows outside. Wait. The skies were supposed to be clear today.
As the class lets out...
> Head up to the building roof and use my powers to summon a jetpack
Edited by Tre on May 23rd 2020 at 10:17:56 AM
oh, that's why I need this binary mind // ⌘"Hello there, average citizen, do you need-" Radley is interrupted by the Sun King flying off. He sees the ice-themed supervillain.
"Woah! Looks like there's trouble afoot. Gotta speed!"
Which one of us should control Gina? I'm fine with either way.
>Follow the Sun King after Blizzard.

I haven't played the particular game that Tango is from, but still... robo kitty. :D>Attempt to awaken my ki and use fire to evaporate the Frappuccino on my shirt.
"Can't beat up anybody with a dirty shirt!"

Huzzah> Ignore the punks unless they're starting troubles and continue looking around
The true power of us human beings is that we can change ourselves on our own.Turn 2
Current Encounter: Blizzard
Steve The Rock (Zorua)
Roll to give cotton candy: 3
Darkness says no to cotton candy as he and Glimmer go to deal with Jackal Claw, another villain, in the other side of the city. Seems that you're on your own to deal with Blizzard.
Before you go, you check the villain files. Blizzard was formerly the shy scientist Boris Snow, who got trapped in a laboratory in a windy, snowy day and got splashed by chemicals and fell out of the window, gaining ice and wind powers and a sense of vengeance. He's also weak to hot temperatures.
Yves (Bais)
> pack up for the day
You continue to wander in the streets. Some snow is seen falling in the horizon.
Budi (Fury)
Roll to find an excuse: 5
You successfully find an excuse and leave. Your boss just tells you to come back by the next shift. You find Blizzard flying at a right-angled triangle with legs of 5 and 15.
Alberto (Afters)
>Begin carving out the basic structure with my school-sanctioned chainsaw.
Roll to carve without killing yourself: 4
You start carving. It's going well. The shape of whatever you're doing is being seen.
Diniel (Johhanes)
Roll to get back into the air: 6
You're back into the air, but you're so high you are going to crash into the Helios Gazette helicopter.
Roll to dodge: 3
You get hit by a bird again, but at least you didn't crash into the reporters or lose HP.
The Sun King (Dubh)
Roll to charge off: 1
You crash on into a pole next to the slide instead of charging off.
Roll to dodge the pain: 6
Everything is swell- oh heck oh frick your Jupiterian body is healing inexistent wounds. -2 HP because your body went dumb dumb. Current HP: 98.
Kenneth (GCB)
The next stop is in the center, so you continue to drive following Blizzard. A dude is standing in the other lane and looks like he's going to fight him or something.
Felicity (Leaf)
The radio goes on. "Athena Brooks here in the Helios Gazette helicopter. Blizzard continues to avance towards the city. There are no heroes nearby yet."
Ro (Tre)
Roll to summon jetpack: 6
Yay, it's a cool jetpack and- OH FRICK IT'S TOO POWERFUL STOP THIS-
You are about to crash into a bird as you're falling when you stopped the jetpack.
Roll to dodge the bird: 1
You crash into and kill the bird. sad.jpg
Also, you are also about to hit the pavement.
Roll to avoid the pavement: 4
Oh thank tech Jesus, you managed to get an actual normal jetpack in time. The bird is still dead and you're still hovering around Urquhart University though.
Radley (Puma)
He's actually crashed into a pole, but you go after Blizzard after telling Gina.
You can control Gina most of the time, but I might need to control her to do basic reactions sometimes.
Trevor (Taco)
Roll to awaken your Ki for a Mundane Utility: 4
You awakened your Ki and evaporated the Frappuccino.
Allen (Mysky)
Roll to ignore the punks: 5
Good. Punks ignored, looking around. Snow is coming.
Blizzard is heading to the center. Budi is in front of him. Felicity is in the Gas Station. Steve is heading to wherever Blizzard and Budi are. Yves and Diniel are farther. The Sun King is in the park. So is Radley, although he's heading to the storm's origin. Alberto is still in the university doing his crafts. Trevor is in the cafe. Ro is hovering next to UU. Kenneth is behind Blizzard.

>Run to the center to meet Blizzard head on
Huzzah> Run towards Blizzard's direction and attempt to engage combat

Well, that’d be jus’ a waste. Why would ya want to deprive the world of such anomaly as yourself?>Since I don't wear tights, I pretend to be a panicking civillian who hasn't evacuated yet... only to surprise Blizzard with a shin-cutting sweep kick when his guard is down.
Lovepilled and HopemaxxingIt is only after I have finished with the chainsaw that I hear the screaming and see the sky darkening outside.
"Oh shit, shit, shit. Oh god, okay, here we go."
>Quickly take out my cloak and staff and run outside as I try to put the cloak on.
>Also, stop by the storage room to pick up my battle alibrije, which is a bigass feathered serpent.

she magnificent my bastard till i complete on her monster"Snow.....in the summer?"
> Follow the snow to the source
> Attract no attention to yourself
One day you're here, baby / And then you're gone.....Ro lands for a second behind a tree, and shelters the bird under a makeshift grave of sticks and stones. "I'm sorry, friend. I hope you can forgive me."
The wind starts to blow with an uncharacteristic chill for this time of year, and he shudders a bit as he materializes a bright cyan shroud over the lower half of his face. "I'll do my best to make it up to you."
Spinning the jetpack back up more carefully than before...
> Head toward the clouds to see what's happening from above

TRS Wick CleaningThe author briefly takes the narration aside to curse out these damn dice. What the hell's wrong with them, eh? Are they trying to make the Sun King look like an idiot? He's not just some crazy hobo!
...
Okay actually he is but he's a competent crazy hobo dammit! Or at least he's supposed to be!
ANYHOO
The Sun King seems unfazed by his growing collection of avoidable minor injuries. Mostly.
