...and honestly, I'm at a loss to understand how the pic/caption combo isn't immediately obvious, especially if you read the note. This falls into the "not really JAFAAC" case listed on that page. Strong Keep Until Better Image Suggested.
Keep Until Better Image Suggested.
If we really do want to find a different image for this, we could pair official content from a work that makes something about it clear (etc. state a character’s name) and pair it up with a news article or report making a mistake related to what is shown in the official image.

That image has been on the site for as long as I can remember (it's even an artifact-filled JPEG on a site that now leans toward high-quality PNGs); I'm assuming it counts as a gag image.
I'm leaning toward Keep Until Better Image Suggested, but if it's still possible to access the article in question (emphasis on if, since it appears to be a print article), a PNG version would be nice to have.

I got a rock for Halloween.Keep Until Better Image Suggested per above posts. FYI the image has already gotten a quality upgrade once.
Keet cleanupKeep Until Better Image Suggested overall, but I have to dispute the part where the caption reads "and it's more than just that keyboard and monitor in the pic". I also see some system under the monitor and behind the keyboard. Not having watched Cowboy Bebop yet, that looks like a full computer system to me, assuming that is, in fact, a disc drive.
Contains 20% less fat than the leading value brand!
In addition, expanding that note results in quite possibly the longest caption I've ever seen.

I got a rock for Halloween. That's my problem with it. It not only makes no sense without the caption, the caption is way too long. I would be content with reworking the caption though.

We could cut down the caption length like this:
![]()
Leaning toward the second (though the first would be fine, too) since it's shorter while still covering the basics, though maybe add the "and that's not her computer" part from the first. I'm against keeping the note.
We can direct people to the work's page if they want a more wordy explanation of the terminology used in it.

I got a rock for Halloween.I like 14.2 better, but I'd also pothole the work in question.

Don't you mean we'd have to replace the image if we renamed the trope? I disagree as it still shows the trope even if it had a different name.
14.1 caption; it's longer but more complete than 14.2 while still being more consise than the current.
I suppose we can use 14.1 as the caption, though I never saw the current one as too long (but it's still as clear and it's more concise).

Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods of Incremental)

It relies entirely on the caption. It took me some serious time deciphering how it is supposed to illustrate the trope.
