I thought it was clear that Sesshomaru was gonna hook up with Rin eventually.

Sesshomaru’s character arc was that he was turning into his father who fell in love with a human.

Moroha, on top of having a perfect name, is awesome and I love her. I love all three of my new demon babies.

Oh there's gonna be fire and brimstone when the twins parentage is revealed. There are plenty of Sessrin fans, and plenty of people (including me) who consider the relationship disgusting.

It might be better for the show to actually never confirm who the mother is. Will keep the fanbase from splitting apart and going to war with itself.

This is a fandom. It's natural state is a constant implosion. There's no winning when it comes to shipping. Not confirming who their mother is will only result in further rage on the part of everyone else for not saying anything.

Would you accept Moroha being loudest girl?

Ok besides the indescribable nostalgia I'm feeling from knowing this sequel exists I have one question

Is "SIT BOY" still a thing.

I mean it wouldn't be a Inuyasha anime if it didn't happen at least once.

Most of the first episode is a flashback to Inuyasha and co... so yes.

Eh, that Gag got old within a few chapters/episodes.

Its done in a more subdued and slightly less comical way in the first episode of Yashahime, anyhow.

... Moroha's a lot more well-informed than I gave her credit for.

Its not like Inuyasha was ever stupid, he was just hot-headed and prone to fits. When he's level-headed, he does show some level of knowledge.

So of course Moroha inherited that from him.

I like how after a while it's clear Drunken Kagome is just doing it for shits and giggles rather than any malice.

As for todays episode, looks like Inuyasha raised his daughter to be sharper than he is....and it's his niece who inherits his BFS.

Light Sabre (not) Tessaiga was pretty cool. Hope to see more of it.

It doesn't seem like any of the parents raised their kids at all. Moroha doesn't seem to know that Sesshomaru is her uncle just that Towa and Setsuna are his children.

@Yakuza No way. Inuyasha was never stupid just extremely stubborn and high-strung. But Inuyasha was never particularly knowledgeable. Plus Moroha is 14 whereas Inuyasha is over 100.

Moroha legit knows a lot of shit for her age. Who the hell raised her? Kaede? She must be incredibly smart especially if she's self-taught.

It's also easy to forget that Inuyasha was 50 years behind as well due to being sealed by Kikyo.

Also, what's with her showing up next week? I thought she was finally dead dead. Like, not just merely dead, but truly most sincerely dead.

Apparently that's just the spirit of the tree taking her form but I don't like that I like the idea of these characters being hilariously unkillable.

People keep saying Kohaku didn't recognize Moroha as Kagome and Inuyasha's daughter since last episode but is there anything explicitly saying that's true? My initial impression was just that the demon slayers knew all about Moroha but considering she's a chaotic hellion they view her as a wild card that might turn on them at any moment and thus suspected her of being the one that committed Mistress Three Eyes' rampage.

Also possessed Mei harmlessly wailing on Towa with a rock was heartbreaking.

Finally, my wildly specific theory I'm just putting out there so that if I'm right I can yell about it: The one who grabbed the twins from the village isn't Sesshoumaru but some sort of imposter, the real Sesshoumaru sacrificed his demonic power to bring back Kagura. He is the twins' human half.

Kaede caring for Sesshomaru's children as newborns seems to suggest that the mother is Rin considering that Kaede is the one who raised Rin after the series.

That would also suggest that Rin is dead likely after giving birth to twin half-demons.

Sesshomaru inadvertently killing Rin would be sad as fuck.

The fact that when the ran into her his mistook her title/nickname "Beniyasha" for her actual name. If he knew she was Kagome and Inuyasha's daughter he would presumably know her actual name even if he didn't know her personally.

The preview for next episode seems to show that Kagome is trapped within the Tree of Ages

The Tree of Ages is only taking Kikyo's form according to the synopsis, its not actually her.
