Needs Help: Monster.Sonic The Hedgehog

The current image is a character who the thread's decided isn't a CM, so he's being removed if he hasn't already. Therefore, we need a new image.

Previous threads for the record. No suggestions.

Maybe we should do one from the games.

I don't like the first one because it's hard to tell what's going on and doesn't really scream CM to me, but rather generic villain zaping a good guy with some type of ray. The second one has potential.

Eh, the second image on feels too text-heavy. Perhaps it would help if the roboticized characters were more in view?

The second could work but the crop is bad. I can barely see the robotised characters.

The games are generally so much more lighthearted I'm not sure to what extent characters from them even count as CM; certainly, I haven't played any games with characters I'd regard as counting as such. If the Sonic SatAM one doesn't count, then as text heavy as the comic scans are, they're better than nothing.

I'll look for full page scans from which better excerpts could be identified.

Of course, I'm open to game examples anyone else wants to post.

Talking Heads

In a previous thread there was a suggestion for Mephiles killing Sonic but it was turned down because the image doesn't make it clear on who he's shooting. So I believe that would require 2 more screenshots to add context. I think the first image should be him firing the laser [1]. The second screenshot would be a close up of sonic getting impaled so it showcases that he's the one being killed (unfortunately I can't find a screenshot of it). And the final screen shot could be what was suggested here.

Can't say if anyone of these are exactly excellent suggestions but since there seems to be a lack of suggestions, here's some to consider.

I like the Chaos one.

The Chaos one is the best so far, but the quality is rather poor.

The "Chaos" one doesn't even look lethal out of context. More like he's just smacking him aside.

That said, the "Kage torturing Locke" one looks applicable.

The concept is good, the pic itself is really fuzzy...is there any way to get an improvement?

I'd need to know which issue of Sonic comics that was from to find a better scan...

The Kage one gets the point across the best, but the quality could use an improvement. Although the most recent post of it cut off that top panel that Ravok's post had, I feel like that panel makes the image clearer

Not sure what you used for resizing it, but I put the same comic scan through Paint Shop Pro X and got a... slightly sharper crop. (Albeit not as different as I thought.)

I like it.
