I think they're both supposed to be Robeasts? Pull for quality issues, at any rate.
Left one looks like a lion, right one looks like a shark, I think?
Yes, please find an example that has the actual Robeast as the focus. But until then, Keep Until Better Image Suggested.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Voltron: Legendary Defender: Voltron vs a Robeast◊ (cropped), another Robeast from the show.
back lol
Not sure if Mechagodzilla works. The trope's description suggests that Robeast is just a typical Monster of the Week for the Super Robot Genre or Super Sentai-esque series, which is better conveyed by the current (but still not very well). Godzilla doesn't seem to fit that definition. Since the trope's name isn't very indicative, using Mechagodzilla as an image will likely result in confusion with Animal Mecha... as it is, the page's examples already show a lot of misuse, so we might have to add this to the TRS backlog.
... until SUDDENLY DINOSAURS.So what, exactly, is the difference between Robeast and Animal Mecha?
I'm definitely not in favor of putting up near-identical images on two distinct tropes - assuming they are distinct.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!According to their respective trope descriptions:
- Robeast: The Same, but More Specific version of Monster of the Week, specifically for Super Robot Genre or Super Sentai series. A big monster to fight. May or may not actually be a robot, may or may not actually be a beast.
- Animal Mecha: A mecha shaped like an animal. It's Exactly What It Says on the Tin.
My suggestion above at wiki size... is it clear which one the mecha is?
Maybe to get the motw across. We have a small collage with the episode number of different robeasts from a show.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."Clock is set.
I've hooked a crowner for this one.
Votes bump; one in the green.

Aside from the quality issues, I can hardly tell which of the two Humongous Mecha is supposed to be the Robeast. I'm assuming it's the one on the right, but it's hard to see either of them clearly. I'd prefer to find an example that has the actual Robeast as the focus, for the sake of clarity.
clearly things are going well.
