In defense of the current image, it does say "Douglas Adam's Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" on the top, with a different author.
The suggestions are a lot more illustrative, however. I agree with 1.2.

Same image as And Another Thing.... Also not even illustrative, since you'd have to already be familiar with the series to know that this one was written by someone else after the original author's death.
A little bland, but it's certainly better than the current.
Alternatively, there's this:
Left-side: In Memoriam for the show's creator attached to the end credits of Volume 3, right-side: official ad for Volume 4.
Marginally less illustrative than the first, since it relies on implication instead of flat-out stating who the creator is, but it's hardly unreasonable to assume that the dedication is for the creator, isn't it? It's also more visually interesting than the first.
Not sure if the image should be potholed to the creator in question, or the work in question.
