Suggestion: Angelic Abomination

Current page image doesn't really scream "abomination" to me, but the page image for Our Angels Are Different sure does.

Should we replace the current with the above picture, and then look for an image of a truly bizarre angel for Our Angels Are Different, like this Ophanim below?

I am also down with that. "Abomination" implies something horrifying, whereas "different" is infinitely more benign in comparison.

I'm all for the original post's pictures, as suggested.

I'd go with the second image.

Alternately, I think a really creepy picture of, say, Zero Two is also welcome as an image example of an angelic abomination.

Agree with moving the Angels Are Different image. I kinda like 1.2 for the replacement since it's in color. But the black and white ones have more angels and better context for the fact that they are angels. So it's pretty evenly matched, I guess.

1.1. for Angelic Abomination and 2.1 for Our Angels Are Different.

For captions, recommend keeping "fear not" for the abomination one. For our angels are different, maybe "angels are the eyes of God, literally."

1.1 for Angelic Abomination, 1.2 for Our Angels Are Different since it's a lot clearer than either 2.1 or 2.2.

We've got clear consensus to move the pic from Our Angels Are Different to Angelic Abomination, so that's done and that page is tagged. I've hooked a crowner for the options for Our Angels Are Different.

Edited the crowner to replace 1.2 with a version without the border and drop shadow.

Since the Our X Are Different tropes typically documents how X is differently portrayed, I'd rather see the multiple depictions of X rather than a picture of one member of the race that happens to be different from the most common depiction.

What's the source for the Ophanim pic from though? A quick gis seems to point to it being from Dungeons & Dragons. Is that right?
