I don't see "kid's show" in the title card of 1.1 and 1.2, though; I more clearly see it in Krusty performing with a kid to a crowd of kids.

I think 13 12 works with the contrast between the merchandise behind him and his expression and cigarette. And that's the full screenshot, so there's no wider crop.
