This is the first I've heard of it. Did Disney have anything to do with this?

Not that I know of. Most of the crew consists of upcomers. (Cary Elwes is on the poster, but I didn't see him in the IMDb list.) I think Bluth is the only big name in the film.

I just remembered that last year, Bluth posted this design for an ibis character
on his Twitter. Could this have been a concept design for Circus Sam?

Wasn't sure whether to put this in live-action film or western animation, so I'm putting it in live-action film for now.
Last night, I just learned about this half-hour indie festival film
released last year called Circus Sam directed by Rayner Wang. It's mostly live-action, but apparently has an animated segment directed by Don Bluth of all people.
Being a huge Bluth fan, I was excited to hear this. Unfortunately, there's barely anything about the film on the internet. Googling "Circus Sam Rayner Wang" just brings up a short little IMDb page and some award pages. Not even Bluth himself has mentioned this on any of his social media. You'd think the return of a big animation legend like Bluth would be a pretty big deal, and more people would be talking about this, but nope. Does anyone know more about this film?
