Clay wakes up.
Why does it feel I went out for a day? WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE?
" She did specify that the ruler is terrible.. Anyway, the lot of noise you bunch made had me misplace my ingredients for my potion, so thanks for that" Fern looks annoyed
Selago starts walking backwards away from the rest of the group. "Sorry," he mutters.
Azoth found themself almost asleep. "We're still assembling... right? Can I nap or something?"
"You'll probably miss some important information." Ymir replied.
"I'm Honoka Kousaka! This is Kotori Minami, and this is Umi Sonoda!"
"You can sleep if you really want to. I can fill you in later, Azoth. Now, let's make a plan. You two have any ideas?"
" I'm Fern.." The elf child notices Selago and walks to him, the robe dragging itself on the floor. " Where are you going?"
"I... look, I'm not that great at copin' with crowds. Especially when everyone's talkin' and stuff." He seems to have trouble looking at Fern. "I promise that I'll contribute as much as possible to our quest. I just need time to settle in."
Fern seems to understand " Well, by walking away backwards makes it look like you're either running away or going to alert the 'bad ruler ' everyone's talking about." They reach into their robe and pull out a vial " This should calm you down" They offer it to Selago
Selago takes the vial. "Thank you." He drinks from it.
Selago would have a warm feeling on his chest before feeling calm and refreshed. Fern smiles " Feeling better? I'm Fern, by the way. I'm an alchemist, but I've dabbled with some summoning for a while" They look proud of themself
Selago smiles. "Ah, that feels good! My name's Selago. Nice to meet you, Fern." He walks back over to the main group, slowly enough for Fern to hold conversation with him.

" The pleasure is all mine. It feels good to have someone try out a potion of mine without asking if they'll blow up." Fern looks over to the group " So, did all of you just meet and decided to storm a castle? Are you building an army?"
"Ymir and Azoth here made a call for action in a nearby tavern... Guess that call to action blew up and now a bunch of people want action."
Fern raised a brow " Isn't posting a revolution enrollment sheet on a tavern bulletin board risky?"
"The biggest risk is not taking any risk... In a world thatís changing as fast as it is now, the only strategy that is guaranteed to fail is not taking risks."
"...I don't remember where I heard that, but that's basically my stance."
"Hey, I made sure it was non-descript! I know how to write vaguely!" Ymir declared.
"I can second this, he's written some weirdly ominous stuff before... I like it," Azoth commented.
"Well, I'm glad all the pleasantries are finally out of the way," Lisandra sighs. "Shall we get on with the quest, then? We are burning daylight out here, and time is money."
".... Hey wait a second, we are getting paid for this, right?" the half-elf questions the kid warlock.
Hackett yet again protrudes from the hair, this time protruding in front of his host's forehead, hanging downward like a bat.
Yeah, are we sure these little'ns are gonna be able to compensate us?
"We're overthrowing a king! there will be no shortage of riches to plunder!
but I wouldn't mind getting paid in advance"

"I know how to procure money... but I wasn't expecting this many of you. Ymir! You have any distant relatives to steal from?" Azoth asked.
"Oh. Hey, you know I don't have any known ones! I am a son of none-born!" Ymir replied.
"You and your stupid phrases... You came from somewhere, just... Pretend you're someone's distant cousin and rob 'em."
"I don't wanna do that!"
"Fine, I'll have someone make a deal with me. I'll be back. You manage these guys." Azoth disappeared and popped up about six feet away and sighed. "Never mind. Rosalia, you stick with these people. We're gonna go procure funds."
The two disappeared off who knows where leaving the group to their own devices.
"Aww, I wanted to join them on their theiving quest," Lisandra pouts. "Ah, well. What's the plan, then? How are we storming the castle?"
"If it 'elps, I've got plenty of scoutin' experience. I could look around the castle for a good way in - provided we know where the place is."
Suddenly, Azoth and Ymir popped back up.
"We popped further into the forest and... bad news, we have some sort of eldritch abomination coming toward here," Azoth said, nonchalant.
"Run? Run. RUN! Or teleport or fly or hide or SOMETHING!" Ymir shouted for emphasis.
Cyril obliged. Nobody likes an eldritch abomination unless it's a dead one... right?
Just then, a bloodlust fills Lisandra's eyes, as she pulls out a large cutlass.
"Point me towards it!" she exclaims.
At this moment, Luna disappears into blue-and-purple smoke, not being much one for combat.
