Cue the entitled nerd whining.
In all seriousness, what are the chances she ends up with Natasha?
...A cult leader... named Allie. Subtle. Anyone else feel like Lois has some new, horrible past trauma revealed every week? I'm not complaining, it's always very well revealed, but give this woman a damn break!
Other evil government lady is minor Supergirl villain Rampage. Don't think she has any connection to Doomsday.
Edge reappearing was fun, but also highlighted the suckiness of our apparent new villains: smug government guy, dumbass scientist lady, probably squicky cult leader, the literal Trope Namer for Generic Doomsday Villain. I really hope they delve into Doomsday's origin as a Tragic Monster, driven insane by being repeatedly killed and resurrected over the course of 30 or so years until he evolved into the perfect lifeform. Would really set him apart from other adaptations.

I remember watching the first season and wondering if the Edge storyline was also a reference to Mack. We have a seemingly benevolent businessman who uses Lana Lang to recruit unsuspecting people into a group and by the time she realizes their nefarious plot, it is too late. This arc in season 2 is basically more overt.
x3: That's essentially what Krypton did with their Doomsday adaptation. In that series, it was a native Kryptonian soldier named Dax-Baron who was exploited for his genetics. With a combination of the Black Mercy toxin and mental conditioning, he suffered repetitious deaths and revivals while mutating in Doomsday.
According to Den of Geek, Allie Allston is possibly Alexandra Allston, who is Parasite (well, one of the them).
Soooo, I think we all know that it's gonna happen, it just remains to be seen when
Any bets on when Tal-Rho will make a Heel–Face Turn?

Besides, if they really are setting up Reign of the Supermen, makes sense for the Eradicator to become good eventually. Only problem is how to convince him to make the jump from not murdering people to protecting innocent people — though I suppose you could say he’s being entitled and only wants to defend Krypton’s legacy from the “pretenders” while his brother is dead. Or maybe he oversees Clark’s recovery, and is only helping people so his brother won’t wake up to find everyone dead and be all pissy about it.
Also, that cult leader they were talking about, Ally Allston? Not so subtle Take That! towards Allison Mack, I'm sure
Agreed.
I thought it was odd he was flying. That's not a thing Doomsday does.
This is the kind of thing I've been expecting them to do more often. Play with our expectations about certain arcs only to pull a Bait-and-Switch and reveal it's really someone else.
It's great.
One Strip! One Strip!Yeah, had they actually gone for Doomsday, I would've called it way too soon, like in BvS. But nice Bait-and-Switch.

He requires a good combo of make-up and CG to get his massive physique and monstrous features right.
I have seen people speculate Bizarro might degrade and transform into Doomsday making the 2 a composite character.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."

I have to say co-opting the shield without his permission is such a douche move and very US military/government.
