So the newest Arrowverse show has cast the children of Lois and Clark and released descriptions of their characters:

Jordan Elsass will play Jonathan, who is described as "clean-cut, modest and kind-hearted, with an aw-shucks attitude that somehow doesn’t seem dated." Alexander Garfin will portray Jordan, who is "wildly intelligent, but his mercurial temperament and social anxiety limits his interactions with people, and consequently, Jordan prefers to spend most of his free time alone, playing video games." The site also reports that Jonathan and Jordan are believed to be twins.
So one kid's named after Jonathan Kent and the other is named after Jor-El. Interesting.

Jordan's name may actually be a reference to Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow?, where the de-powered Superman of the future went by the alias "Jordan Elliot".

I’m surprised they didn’t go with Chris or Conner for son #2.

Good point.

What about Chris / Lor-Zodd?

They might want to bring him in later on. We already know that Superman once faced off with Zod before.

... what about Cir-El?

Anybody..?

Hopefully they'll handle the kid from the future to be less annoying than the future Allen.

I hope so. It's not a Superman show without Lex. (Although I'm having fun with him in Supergirl.)

Wait a minute.

Comes from the future, claims (and in this case actually is) the hero's daughter.

A plant wrapped up in an evil plot by one of the hero's greatest enemies, who abandons the dark path.

Subsequently erases herself from existence to save the world.

Was XS a composite with Cir-El the whole time?

The daughter of Barry and Iris in The Flash. Spent a long time antagonizing Iris and got herself retconned playing on Thawne's plans.

Either one kid (Jordan) is going to be revealed as secretly Zod’s son that Kal took in as a baby, or he’s eventually going to become evil.

Hopefully, the former.

In Western media, any adventure series that prominently features a pair of brothers is going to reference or homage the Cain & Abel story. It's just a law.

Stacey Farber has been cast as Leslie Larr, a right hand to a highly influential person, described as a 'hardened world-worn dream killer, athletic, strong and sometimes heartless'

Larr's name is adapted from a vintage Supergirl villain from the comics, a Kandorian called Lesla-Larr.

Lets celebrate Superman and Lois with some Lois and Clark (I'm ashamed it took me years to catch that pun).

....man, I wish Dean Cain didn't do....whatever it is he did. I hate it when reality ruins the stuff I enjoyed in my youth.

....this is still a good them though.

I still maintain that Lois and Clark had by far the best version of Clark Kent outside the comics, and that that Clark is a model that other series and movies should look to as an example of how to make the character relatable and human.

To hell with Dean Cain himself, though.
