We wake up as Magical Girls - Maid the RPG Game

—BASEMENT—

A small, two foot tall demonic figure stood in the middle of a burning pentagram. It was dressed in a business suit made of flayed human flesh. In its hands was a scroll that it read from in a surprisingly deep, bass voice. The scroll was almost wider then it is.

"While Gorvalex the Gold does not acknowledge any wrongdoing on his part, either as an independent agent or as a representative of Quest.Net, he will supply a portion of magical power, denoted in the form of Silver, to the realm of Aerth to be used..."

Felix sighed, listening as the figure continued to read.

"...and promises to return Savarian to her original body and dimension of origin within one standard inter-realm week, provided that Savarian fulfills her promise to promote the goals of Quest.Net and does not permanently damage or destroy the mortal vessel her spirit is currently residing in, as detailed in the attached appendix labelled B-17."

The figures set the first scroll down and pulled another scroll from its coat, in what looked like either a cheep visual gag or a use of inter-dimensional storage space. He began reading the appendix of conditions, provisions, and other legal boiler plate the agreement is subject to.

Felix used an oven mitt to reach through the flames to grab the first scroll, then began double checking the writing on it.

"Sorry I made you guys worry!" Daisy apologizes to her teammates and friends, "I got a little stressed out..."

Rozalyn points at Daisy. "You think I'm scared of your little gardening implement?" she demands. All six of her poodles begin barking loudly. "This is your last chance... leave now or face my wrath!"

"First off, it's not a gardening implement, it's a farming implement... and yeah, you kinda should be! I mean, hello? Big menacing scythe?" Daisy explains.

Rozalyn glares at Daisy. "Get her, my pretties!" she yells, and points. Three of the poodles launch themselves at Daisy like furry homing missiles, yapping as loudly as they can and their little legs pistoning back and forth as they run.

Once Rosa arrives, she sees the lil furballs about to attack her comrade. Looking around for a distraction, she finds a twig on the ground.

She picks up the stick, gives a hearty whistle, then shouts, "Puppies! Gooo...FETCH!" Rosa then tosses it as far as she can.

Rosa's cunning [3] x dice [6] = 18
Puppy pack's dice [3, 4, 2] = 9

The trio of poodles turn, chasing after the stick and yapping happily. Rozalyn's face turns red and she stomps her foot angrily. "You... you... whippersnapper! Get her, Beta Squad!"

The other three poodles charge at Rosa.

Amethyst seeing the dogs charging at her comrade interposes herself between them and Rosa before whapping the closest dog's nose, hopefully it would either distract them or draw their attention away from their current target.

Amethyst's athletics [3] x dice [4]=12
Dogs' dice [3, 5, 3] = 11

Amethyst hits one of the poodles. Roz screams as the other two leap to attack Amethyst, the one she hit retreating and yelping in pain.

Dogs' dice [3, 4] = 7
Amethyst's athletics [3] x dice [1] = 3

The two poodles bite at Amethyst.

The other three poodles (alpha squad) come hurrying back, one of them still carrying the stick that Rosa had thrown.

"You hurt my baby!" Rozalyn scoops up the traumatized poodle and glares at Amethyst. "You will pay for this!"

"Hold it!"

Rosa pulls out her phone^note  From her cleavage, of course. and the receipt, turned on the camera app, and held out the receipt in front of it.

"Ms. D'Centrefold, would you mind explaining to the viewers why you attempted to buy out all of the chocolate chips at the market, then stole our groceries and drove off? I have the proof right here, and if you don't want me to post this online for all to see, you would put the dogs away and give us back our groceries. "

Rozalyn snarls. "I... I... Put that phone away!" she snaps, then whistles. The charging poodles stop in mid-run, then begin turning back to her. "What I want to know is why you... dearies.... aren't helping a little old lady after her car was... er... mysteriously had two tires go flat."

"Like we'd ever help a thief!" Daisy announces semi-triumphantly as Rosa unveils the evidence in a rather... um... unusual way...

Rozalyn locks her car and then begins stomping off, carrying one poodle and followed by the other five. She dials a number on her own cell phone, calling Angel and trying to arrange a ride.

You have temporarily inconvenienced a member of the Aterian Empire and kicked punched a puppy. Um, yay?

"Wait... Lemme get this straight... Rozalyn D'Centrefold... was a member of the Atarian Empire?" Daisy double-takes.

"Okay..." Daisy considers... "So this Rozalyn who has been making our shopping difficult may or may not be a member of the Atarian Empire... And I have a funny feeling that we're gonna have the devil's own time with whatever we do should we run into her again. This codex leaves us two options... We get our groceries back and head home, or we continue this fight until she tells us what she knows about her possible affiliation... All in favor of reclaiming our groceries and heading home so we can start baking?"

"Aye," replies Rosa, having stopped recording before Roz said anything. "Today has been too damn weird."

Your walk home is uneventful. Upon entering the house, you can either go to the BASEMENT, go to the KITCHEN and start baking, or TAKE A THIRD OPTION.

Ryo calls out "Tadaima!" to let Felix know that they're home. "We just got back from the store!"

Felix comes up from the basement, dressed in pressed slacks, a button up shirt, loafers, and a oven mitt. He's busy clutching a scroll in the oven-mitted hand. "Oh, hello there... We're going to have a new person for dinner. I was thinking of ordering pizza from the new take-out place in town, they're having a special on Goat-cheese pizza for some reason."

Ryo didn't actually mind goat cheese all that much. He went to UCLA when he was younger, so the lesser-known pizza toppings weren't all that out there for him. It was the fact that Angel was trying to buy the vote with it that irked him.

"New person, huh? I reckon that's what the glowing-hot scroll is about?"

"I thought with Princess Star White missing, the team could use a temporary replacement." says Felix. "Unfortunately, there turned out to be some unexpected paperwork."

Felix cautiously tests the scroll and, finding it cool enough to touch, he sets the scroll down on the counter. "How about you find out what everyone wants on their pizzas? Also, when you call the restaurant, see if they will accept gold coins or if they insist on us using that strange plastic card."

"I want sausages" Maria requested as she overheard the conversation she was disappointed she still hasn't figure out what Angel wanted her to know, she was scared of what she would do to her if she failed her.

Felix opens the basement door and calls down. "Savarian! Are you done changing clothes yet? Also, what would you like on your pizza? Um, that's sort of an open-faced flatbread sandwich with flavored tomato sauce, cheese, and various toppings cooked together... "

From the basement you hear a voice that has a slightly ethereal hit to it yell back "Oh I dont know, how done do you think I am when the armor will not come off no matter what i try." you hear some rattling noises coming from do their before the sound of something heavy being knocked over echos out from below. "By the gods, if this armor turns out to be cursed than i will make sure Greedvalex suffers before I kill him again."
