The trope itself is highly controversial due to its nature as a Double Standard. Even the description, despite being as neutral as possible, is rather negative in tone.
It's gonna be difficult to find an example that doesn't lampshade or parodies it. Any serious example will likely overlap with The Lost Lenore or Stuffed into the Fridge.
