Not Thriving: Informed Power

Giving this a bump for votes. Right now, none of the options are in consensus range.

So I think all we really need to do is make it clear that Informed Ability isn't character-specific.

Indeed. Wicks will not take long for a trope that isn't thriving.

Took care of the wicks; we just need to fix the description and deal with the actual Informed Power page.

I'm not sure the Iron Man 2 example even qualifies, as it isn't a 'didn't show full potential,' it just plain failed to work as advertised. It didn't actually have the potential in the first place.

By "deal with" you mean "cut", right? Since you did the wicks already?

Now that I've read Informed Power twice more, the justifications are really flimsy. Like, either the destructive power isn't shown because the hero stops the baddie ("hero defeats villain" is standard storytelling) or because the Moral Guardians won't allow it (as if there wasn't any other way to portray it without blaming the Moral Guardians. If Mulan can show a village razed to the ground, so too can creators find a way around the censors/review boards/parents).
