Plus we don't know the context, which is arguably what makes a true spoiler. For example, context is the difference between knowing that "Rosebud" was a sled, knowing that Mami was killed 3 episodes in and knowing that Darth Vader is Luke's father

With chapter 8 approaching soon, I'm curious if anyone has any specific plans or challenges they'll do with its final boss?
I vaguely wanna try giving Jaye a spin on that map lol
The closest thing I have is...getting an al E 2 L 50 team first, including Amiya before even attempting chapter 7.
I do have an idea for a 5-10 clear involving Team A6, Gummy, Zima and Ch'en later down the road, and maybe doing the same fight once I get Istina's and Rosa's contracts.

Brute force it. I got Surtre to deal.
I wanna try the double Chi Xiao Shadowless on the she-dragon for the absolute cinematic kino. Also, will immediately aiming for the secret scenes and see just what is it with the conversation with Lowlight's self-insert.
I don't make a habit of researching stages before I do them. I'd rather figure it out myself.
From the teaser for Skadi alter:
"I've been waiting for you, Doctor. I've waited you for far, far too long, I even forgot why I am waiting for you here... but none of that matters. None of that matters much anymore." - Skadi alter
I call it "The Corrupting Heart". It had Skadi's appearance, but it isn't her. Fate mocked the failure of our civilazation with ruins, and now it made this organism appear before me, insulting our end. - Doctor(?)
Also, her "drop down" animation is her warping in as if she's from another dimension or materializing a physical body that resembles Skadi. Knowing that possession is a thing in Arknights...
Lowlight's explanation in the stream says that it's a possible future for Skadi; she was injured during one of her fight as an Abyssal Hunter, and she exiled herself to the land. The injury is an eldritch possession, and Skadi Alter is her form when she gets corrupted by the abyss. I feel this "bad end" is a common occurrence with the operators' "future" like Bloodline of Combat series; in Who is Real, Beagle's BoC is her when she goes MIA if nothing is done about it.
Never knew there were actual supernatural elements to this series.
Are we talking about aside from the potentially sentient evil magic rocks, or?
I mean we have magic, gods (Nian, Dusk), possible possession, Yokai, and there were hints of Lovecraftian elements as well.
Yeah. Im not too deep in the lore and i thought it was more of the scifi nature.
Even then, it is rather hard to ignore the literal demons and angels, even at the lowest rarities.
But they are treated as a races.
It's been noted a few times that Leithania used to have like a literal witch king
Yeah, the Sankta having wings and the Sarkaz having horns isn't necessarily indicative of being actual angels and devils. Originium being generally treated as a scientific/engineering thing does make it more impactful when we get stuff like Nian being a god or the eldritch horrors of the ocean.
While there is absolutely magic in this setting, getting injured and corrupted from the inside is absolutely a sci-fi trope as well. In fact it works slightly better from a sci-fi perspective since you can talk about it as a virus or mutating your cells or whatever. Even Eldritch Horror traditionally works on a more physical, body-horror level than a spiritual one.
That said, Sufficiently Advanced Magic is Indistinguishable From Science.

For me, a world with different races especially races like Angels, Demons, Dwarves, Dragons, etc., immediately makes me think fantasy. Even Arts is literally just magic.
@Ala Alba Maybe Lowlight wants to keep the possibilities open. Bad ends and future events might not necessarily be canon.
Oh yeah, that's the trope.

On Art, i saw it more of a manifestation of the human body like mutant powers.
The series does approach everything from a very scientific perspective though, as though magic is something that exists in the physical world and can be studied scientifically. So even if arts seem magical to us, to them it's no more magical than radiation; it's just a kind of unusual physical property of originium. While they often bring up ancient magic too, the implication is just that it's simply poorly understood for now and will eventually be explained by science.
There's even a whole bit in chapter 7 about how prophecies are meaningless gibberish recited from racial memory and people only believe in them because of confirmation bias and self-fulfilling prophecies.

Got everyone in the banner after 215 rolls. Worth it for me anyway as long as I got them. Instant E2 for the good doggo. Tho now I have to learn how to use brawlers.
From Thorns/Siege Banner: 2 5*s. Leonhardt (nice), Gummy, Arene, Plume, Catapult, Cuora (interesting), Jessica, Kroos, Perfumer, and for the 2nd 5*... (drumroll) Texas! (Now I just need Exusai :P)
From FMN banner..
Selector Ticket: Eyjafjalla.

Got Whisperain and Reed, guess I'll have to wait and see how free rolls pan out.
Finally was able to log in. 120 rolls got me Rosmontis and Eunectes (wrong defender damn it!). Got 160 rolls left in the bank and I'll roll them after seeing how the free rolls pan out after a few days.
Dropped all of my OP and most of my yellow certs for headhunting passes to get Mudrock P5 and Rosmontis. I'm satisfied.
