Oh cool, an episode about refugees and incompetent government members thinking arresting people is the solution.

Oh god Yuamu tricking them into thinking Yudias would fight back and getting the aliens on their side is pretty impressive.

And Manabu's getting more development, love to see that.

We've already reached the "oops all dragons" protagonist ace monster phase, eh (Yes, I'm including Yuhi's monsters too)?

Yeah, there was awhole pack that came out where the core five got new dragons. I can't remember if Yudias' debut, but Yuhi, Yuamu, and Manabu's all got theirs.

The question is if Zwijo's going to get involved in this arc so we see his. Roa got a duel in the Maximum Arc, so we'll see what happens.

This episode was wild.

Yudias got his duel disk and card packs from a figure that looks like Yuga's The Yuga Man getup (did the robot literally travel to another universe when it went Ludicrous Speed at the end of the Otes duel?), Yuna uses Yuga's deck down to Sevens Road Magician, and beats Yudias with an extremely busted equip magic card.

Until the characters pointed it out I hadn't realized that equip cards hadn't been introduced to Rush Duels yet. In fact I don't remember them being used much in the later Gallop shows either.

I'm guessing Yuna has a reason for going so far beyond I'm just a cynical bitch.

New episode:

the Rovian gang is lead by Rovian Kirishima, who's basically Romin (well not literally, but it's another reused design). Yuudias may have been turned into a t-shirt, but there's no real proof.

Rovian challenges both siblings at once, which is a massive warning sign, but we'll see if they'll have the kids have two big losses (after Yuudias' loss to Yuna) back to back like that.

Rovian has her own berserk mode like Romin did, and sure enough, she wins. The twins get saved by Manya, but they aren't leaving yet, because they haven't saved Yuudias yet. Though we still don't know if he's really that T-shirt or not.

And Rovian's a proper Super Saiyan transformation.

The Rovian Bandits are three for three, as their new member (who's another Call-Back to the noodle guy form Sevens) takes out Manya, though Yuuhi and Yuamu still manage to sneak into Badloon and take back (supposed) T-shirt Yudias.

Next episode they try to restore him.

I've heard of people being sealed in cards and robot monkeys, but t-shirts are new to me.

What is it with this franchise and And I Must Scream-style imprisonments?

Gotta have some way to raise the stakes without using death.

Welp, I certainly wasn't expecting Menjaburo's deck to parody the Light and Darkness Mask Ghouls of all characters lol

New episode: Yuudias is back, and next week The Rovian Bandits decide to attack UTS' house instead of the other way around.

Interesting that Earthdamar's ability to turn 2D images into 3D objects is not limited to cards. Though cards are still by far most weaponizable application.

Yuudias gets his own equip card from Zwijo, and there's (space) treasure underneath UTS.

Episode 26:

Yuudias wins, and the entire town is a spaceship.

The animation with Rovian's guitar Kamehameha was so sick, we seriously need that OST to come out soon.

Been two weeks behind but I caught up.

Chuptaro's anime career hit a snag, and we got some (kinda) old school dueling.

Nice touch having the guy who looks like Galient land the finishing blow, considering how much Asaka (sp) looks like Asana.

So I came to talk about today's ep, and realized I'd forgotten last weeks.

So, previously....we have a damn Flintstones reference in an anime. That was weird.

And today, I admit, I didn't recognize Zwijo until giant girl appeared. Before that, I was totally fooled. I didn't even notice the voice.

I noticed first the speech quirks, then the voice, then the hair color. The humor of this episode as a whole was somewhat better than average. I love particular Zwijo's curry logic of "I sell it because I don't eat it".

Asaka cleans house, and we get a bit of a preview of the great king of terror.

Also, Rovian is apparently a hard counter for traps and deception.

We got expies of Neil and Luke, with the latter being the Great King of Terror himself.

Rovian has her second loss....and is frozen solid after looking in a box the Great King showed her.

Hah. They would make the guy who lost only one duel in the previous series the villain.

Also, now someone else knows how Yuuhi feels to lose to a rookie.
