So, this is coming out on December 11th. It'll be on Consoles first quarter of 2020. It's a Visual Novel ala Japan rather than an actual game-game like VAMPIRE: THE MASQUERADE: BLOODLINES 2.

Anyone picking it up?

Here's a reaction to the game as well by Outstar:

They're also doing some interactive novels.

Just played Coteries for the first time a few weeks back, when I heard Shadows was coming out, and I'm glad I did. Forgot just how much I liked the old World of Darkness.

Werewolf The Apocalypse: Heart of the Forest has a free demo that is also very good, albeit in more of an indie CYOA style. And while I do like it a lot (it has a very cool collage art style that the screenshots aren't really doing justice, and great prose), part of me did want something more like this but with Glass Walkers and Red Talons and Children of Gaia and the like.

We really are drowning in VTM games after years of a drought. I'm not sure how to feel about it.

Honestly we never really had many actual Storyteller games to begin with, and I've liked what I've seen so far — I'm a fan of CYOA/IF stuff to begin with. I'm hoping other folks give them a chance and they're able to build a niche, keep doing what they do. And if they get enough traction that we get more Bloodlines-style RP Gs in the other WOD settings, I'll be thrilled beyond belief. I think Mage is a bit of a slam dunk, but what I wouldn't give for a true Werewolf: The Apocalypse RPG.
