It doesn't tell much without context. It's just the poster of two Batman movies.
Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z was suggested in the first thread, since DBZ is very recognizable and Goku is visibly younger in the original.
Keet cleanupI'd prefer Dragon Ball since it's easy to see DBZ is a sequel since the characters are older. I'd prefer both images to have Goku, and ideally Bulma, Krillin, and/or the Flying Nimbus.
Keet cleanup
But is it even an example? Is DBZ really that much more popular than DB?
How do you show that the sequel is more popular just by putting characters/posters/whatever next to each other? I agree with it being BUPKIS.
Fjón þvæ ég af mér fjanda minna rán og reiði ríkra manna.I agree with the BUPKIS votes.
Edit: See my next post.

I got a rock for Halloween. How about a comparison of sales figures, as more popular stuff usually sells more copies? Here's one idea, numbers taken from this
. Probably not completely accurate as sales for I seem to be from a collection and there's no listing for the original, added +s to compensate.

Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods of Incremental)
Well, then I take back what I said in my previous post. Adding the sales figures is a big improvement, since my main issue was that showing things like game box art and movie posters while showing nothing else illustrates that a sequel exists, but doesn't illustrate the displacement part.

I got a rock for Halloween.Yeah, my hope was that people would think, "oh yeah, I love Street Fighter II, but what even is Street Fighter I?", granted this was partially based on an AVGN video and the image can't really demonstrate that, but that's what I was going for.

I like that, but the Street Fighter II box art should be a scan like this one
instead of a photograph of the box.
Well, I just used what I've been given by War Jay 77 and added sales figures, but if you'd rather have it that way, here it is:
Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods of Incremental)Yeah, maybe we need more stats.
Also, minor gripe, but the gray text is hard to read on Night Vision...

In that case, the bottom part of the image probably shouldn't be transparent.
I think I've got the perfect font color which will allow us to keep transparency: 848484. I used 444444 previously which I agree may not be the best, but this should keep readability in both modes. Hey, 84x3 is used on Sequel Escalation's text (don't worry, I've left my gripes with that pic behind).
As for other data, I don't see a way to incorporate it into the pic without making it look tacky. Maybe "Legacy: Occasional appearance in collection re-releases | Several updated versions, an OVA, a cartoon, a movie, and more", but that may be better for the caption.

I actually forgot to put in the caption suggestion (my bad), which was: "Admit it, when we say "Wolfenstein", you think of the latter, don't you?" but even with that I think it's JAFAAC.
