New chapter... Well that's decidedly not sinister...

It's not fair that I want to write a piece of writing yet it will cut me off in the midDamian manages to be the only normal person in his family by loving his father too much to not notice how little he gives a shit about anyone else. If only he directs that towards his mom. Melinda seems pretty stressed and afraid of Donovan, but still tries in vain to act like a wife to him. Someone get the other two eye drops, they need it for staring at nothing all the time.

Okay, I’m not the first to make this deduction probably, but Desmond probably has psychic abilities like Anya. He’s able to communicate with or control his wife and older son - they could have all undergone some sort of procedure, and only Damian hasn’t yet. I dunno. Just my train of thought.
You’re Gonna Carry That Weight.Yeah, this definitely feels like fodder for the psychic Donovan theory. That's what I'm getting out of the meaning of "productive evening" getting questioned. It's also the first time I noticed Donovan has stitch marks running through the back of his brain. Have we ever seen him from an angle that let us see that before?
My mind is racing.
He actually does seem to mean it when he says that the evening was worthwhile.
He took note of something during that charade of a family dinner and is pondering about it in private. But what?
The page where they are all shown separated was strong.
And I'm already loving Mary Jane. I find the buttlers are so interesting.

I get the feeling if he does have mind reading power it's not on the same level as Anya's, or at least requires longer contact than a brief face to face conversation.
That he even has stitch marks on his head while Anya has no obvious signs of tampering suggests that whatever he went through was cruder and less effective than whatever Anya went through to get her powers.
My guess is that it's because Anya was modified from a young age — possibly since birth or even before that — to gain her abilities, while Donovan was operated on as an adult.

Disgusted, but not surprisedIt does seem like a bit of Early-Installment Weirdness now, though since Ania vs. Anya was specifically highlighted and explained I wouldn't be shocked if it still came up eventually. Just like how Endou only recently seemed to remember that Becky and Damian also have dogs.
Does anyone actually read these?Well, the musical is getting a second run
in October 2025.
Interestingly, the musical Mata Hari (by the composer of Death Note) is also back next October.
Meanwhile we're still waiting on that other spectacular 2023 manga-based musical. (Not Attack on Titan, that's back in January).
(...this one)

A broken eraser. I love it.
