Same with me! Whenever I'm angry or want to let off steam, I also either...1. Scream at the top of my lungs in my room (Only when nobody's home though, and I don't do it often), or 2. Play Pokemon Puzzle Challenge on my 2DS Virtual Console. The latter is surprisingly therapeutic for me, especially when on Super Hard or Intense mode.

Seriously though, listening to music helps me a lot. It also helps me to just get up and walk away from the situation if I can.
Very good kittyWhen I can, I unwind with something like an adult coloring book or crossword.
I've been taking these vitamin gummies for stress I got at a whole foods whenever I think I'm going to have a hectic day - It could be placebo effect but it seems to help. Another, weirder thing I've been doing is taking a toy velociraptor to work with me, mostly just stuffed in my pocket somewhere. I guess the idea is it's part of my room decor, and if I can't go to my room to escape stressful situations I can at least have part of my room with me?
I've been picking up the habit of doing meditation. I find that just being willing to stay present and acknowledge the feeling instead of picking up more stress by struggling against it is usually enough to help dissolve it. From what I've found, some of the things you eat can lead to increased cortisol production as well as having an impact on general health, so I think a change of diet would also help. Nowadays I'm just about vegetarian (except for the occasional seafood, so technically pescetarian) and since I started eating that way I've been feeling a lot lighter and less agitated. I'd also recommend choosing your battles wisely when it comes to expressing your views on divisive issues, especially if it's to do with other people or events you aren't personally involved in. Try limiting your exposure to drama in general, only be engaged when it directly involves you, or if you're sure you can trust whoever you're discussing it with to speak in good faith. Otherwise whatever you say will often fall flat, and you might find yourself spending all your time desperately trying to score imaginary points thinking there's something you need to prove when there are other things you'd surely much rather do that are actually constructive, and much more reliable in helping you gain fulfillment.

I assume you mean other than "just bottling it up to inevitably fuel your self-destructive tendencies in the long run", so booting up GTA V (or some other video game where it's easy to destroy things, like Just Cause or Watch Dogs) and killspreeing usually helps for me.
I guess it's just the principle of the thing. Not that I would run over pedestrians with a sports car in real life, though.
Well, that’d be jus’ a waste. Why would ya want to deprive the world of such anomaly as yourself?I used to comb my fingers through my hair as a habit out of stress.
Now I tend to some healthier approaches:
- hugging myself and breathing deeply to calm my head
- walking around, sometimes to do something else, like praying
- drinking water, just in case it's dehydration getting to me
In no specific order. *
Edit: Oh yeah, if the stress surmounts to a headache to the extent that I can't directly deal with what's causing me stress, taking a nap usually helps me too.

When you're alone I'm reaching out to let you know that you're far from strangers, like the saviorI like to brainstorm new ideas for characters (and maybe draw them) or worldbuilding-related stuff.
I also like to think about my favourite characters, listen to music, watch cartoons, and/or treat myself to a snack (typically something sweet).
Join the Object Show Cleanup Thread! (they/them)Crying a little or screaming into a pillow can help, too. Heh, I also associate the latter with Lilo And Stitch.
Oh, I believe in yesterday
It's like I'm in some kind of... TV Tropes...
When I have the time, my most favorite method is going to the House on the Rock. :)
Come on! Let's bless them all until we get fershnickered!Funny that you say that. I had a story idea that involves divine beings at the House on the Rock. ;) A bit of a spoiler heavy one, though. ^_^;;
In the vacation story that’ll take place after Volume VIII, King Zasedis, Queen Sastiana, and their daughter Princess Zulloenne are going to visit the House on the Rock as part of their vacationing fun in Wisconsin. I had the idea that Zulloenne is going to laugh at the statues of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse towards the museum’s ending, considering that her parents defeated their Dark Stone Cutter counterparts all the way back in Volume III.

Come on! Let's bless them all until we get fershnickered!

I checked and I don't think there was a thread for this already. (If I missed it, sorry!)
Anyway, as the title says, this is just for sharing the ways we deal with stress. Maybe someone else will mention a good method that we hadn't thought of before. :P
For me, I love listening to music, or playing video games if I have time. I also like to work on creative stuff like drawing, or browsing the forums here and chatting with friends.
If the weather's nice and it's still daytime, I also like to go outdoors for a bit.
Tbh I never really hated his minigames in the original, but they did make them better in the remake.
