some Absolute Heat for you, my friend, courtesy of Eprom
I can't comment as heavily on the actual lyrical content itself because I'm pretty unfamiliar with Korean and Hangul, but you can very much tell that he's a technically gifted MC, and there's some nifty production tricks in the mix there too. Certainly one of the more interesting K-rap singles I've heard, even if the genre in general isn't quite as immediately My Thing.

You're probably young enough to have never heard this one.

"Apocalypse Please" w/ intro 'cause it doesn't sound right without it
Is it just a thing for samba albums to have misleading titles? First you showed me Jorge Ben's Fôrça Bruta, which was not forceful or brutal in the least, just very pretty. Now, we have this, which despite being from an album entitled, to translate, Sadness on Guitar, isn't especially melancholic. It instead alternates between a nervous tension on the verses and an almost saccharine cheerfulness in the choruses, balancing the contrast well by building the whole thing around Baden Powell's quietly masterful guitar work.

Canto De Ossanha
that was pretty epic, i just wished there were english translations there too, but it's pretty good nonetheless

Not bad at all.

I hate to break it to you, but it's just noise.

Harsh Noise is a thing fyi
...I really don't listen to Avenged Sevenfold, but, but that is some good stuff. I liked it!

...Hail to the King (murdered)
What do you mean that's not Daft Punk Nice tempo there. Fittingly it does give a winter vibe, a bit like an ice level in a platformer.

Le Knight Club - Holiday on Ice

this is like not a single track but has "calm/ambient" and "action/fight" sequences.
It's nice, but not something I'm into and listen to much. Again, it's good but yeah.

And They Don't Stop Coming (Pitch-Corrected)
Definitely not the type of thing I listen to but I have to say I'm kinda impressed, shuffling beat, brass and all; it manages to be oddly moody but intense at the same time.
Edited by unfortunatezorua on May 23rd 2020 at 9:30:48 PM
Pretty standard mid-1990s downbeat fare. I didn't dislike it, but it'd be hard to really praise it.

Good choice, a bit sorrowful but the instrumentation is amazing.
