We only have images of the PS5 devkits so far, no? AFAIK, devkits always look a bit different from consumer consoles. The PS3 devkit, for one, looks more like a laserdisc player than anything

Fossils
in Pokemon games are items that can be revived into a pokemon if you take it to the local fossil research center. The kind of pokemon you'll get depends on the fossil type. Barring trading with other players, it's often the only way to obtain a particular pokemon.
At least, that's how it was in earlier games. Dunno if they changed anything for SwSh
