The red-haired "young woman" glances at the vampire and says, in a voice dripping with cold amusement:
"If you're just gonna leave right away, why even bother coming here?"
She shakes her head, murmurs something that sounds distinctly like "mortals, I swear" and looks back to the principal.
Hail majestic corporate light, heaven born and ever bright! The spider looks up at Cardlau, sneering.
"How long is this speech gonna be, anyway?"
I'm Huney B now. Okay?Cardalu looks at Venter, somewhat hurt, but lightens up when he sees who it is. "Ah, you must be Venter. Rest assured, I won't take too long. In fact, one of the main points I wanted to cover: Thanks to your father for his generous support of my cause! I promise you my staff will do their best to give you the education your father wanted!"

Very good kittyAll seven of Venter's good eyes widen in surprise. "H-Hey!" Did he really just out him like that?
Shit, no, come on. Don't go and get yourself expelled. Venter takes a deep breath in, nodding.
"Thank you, sir..."
I'm Huney B now. Okay?As the headmaster continues his speech, Dennis thinks about his situation for a bit. He is slow and, to an extent, mute. That sounds incredibly inconvenient for a setting that involves social interaction and mobility.
"… Excuse me, ma'am?" He "says" to Lelia.
(Diogenes sits nervously, having a number of questions he'd like to ask, but too nervous about asking any of them because of his worries about what the others might say.)
(Elisa, meanwhile, has a seat near the others and sets Null down next to her.) They're still asleep. (She says.) And I don't know where to find the school nurse...
"Hey, least I didn't lose all my artistic talent when I crash landed in the arena here.""If it isn't too much trouble… can you pick me up? I'm not able to move very fast and can only communicate through physical contact, so… I figured I could stick to someone to help me with that. If you don't want to do it, that's okay, I'll just try to find someone else."
If I don't clash, I don't change. The world ends at my borders, and the best moments slip away."Now then..." Count Cardalu pulls some cards out of his hat and begins reading off of them.
"Ace of spades. Four of diamonds. Queen of hearts- wait-" his face somehow turns even paler than it already is. "These aren't my notecards"
Count Cardalu quickly puts the cards in his coat pocket. He stands there in silence. Monsters close enough might see that he's trembling a little.
"Well... uh... we... we may face some mishaps during your education, b-but don't worry! That's a normal part of the education process. I think? And together we will overcome these challenges, and succeed in... success!"
Count Cardalu wipes his forehead with a handkerchief.
Very good kitty"Oh!" Dennis is surprised by suddenly being scooped up like that. "Thank you very much!" Since he's able to transmit his general feelings, Lelia should be able to feel a nice, warm sensation in her head. "… So, um… what's your name?"
If I don't clash, I don't change. The world ends at my borders, and the best moments slip away. The red-headed girl is still silently paying attention to the principal, but her facial expression has shifted to one of barely concealed amusement.

Hail majestic corporate light, heaven born and ever bright!"That said, I think we're ready to begin," says Count Cardalu.
"All students, head to the registration station inside to receive your class schedules and supplies. And remember, if you ever need to talk to me, my office is always open! Welcome to Count Cardalu's School for Monsters to Mesh with Man!"
Very good kitty

Lelia perks up and directs her attention towards Cardalu.
we will survive.
