ITT: We Are Monsters Attending School

H-Huh? (Diogenes turns around.) Who are you?

(Elisa turns to look as well, visibly annoyed.)

"Oh no," says Count Cardalu, standing nearby. "Fred."

"That's right," says Fred the leech. "You've done the wrong thing, Cardalu! Monsters should never be friends with humans! We're meant to eat them, destroy them!"

He turns to Teddy, Diogenes, and Elisa. "Right?"

Lelia's gone and signed up for a few random classes. She's not entirely sure what all of them are, but surprises are fun so it should be fine.

The newcomer draws her attention.

"I don't really want to eat anybody though?"

N-No...? (Diogenes says.) I came here because I didn't WANT to be seen like that.

Look...uh...Fred, would we even be here trying to sign up for these things if we thought that way? (Elisa says.)

The very human-looking girl gives the leech a look of... amused condescension?

"Who're you callin' "kid"?"

Null glares at the newcomer.

"I don't know who you are, but I don't like your views on friendship!"

(Quick note: I'm not going to he very active on discord for a while, so if there are any announcements about openings for NP Cs or if I'm doing anything wrong, it would be best if you messaged me directly through TVT.)

(Quicker note: You only need to do this if I'm not online.)

"I'm not really hungry, either…" Dennis thinks to himself… and Lelia.

Bakti smiles. “Yes, kill the humans! Kill them! But not eat them. That wouldn’t taste good.”

"...yeah, uh, no."

The mannequin would turn to Fred and tried to look as annoyed as possible. Pretty hard when your only facial features are your eyes, though. "I think opening with "you guys are gonna be wimps" and "humans should be eaten" puts you on thin ice already."

"W-what's going on?"

"Eat humans?" says Teddy. "I don't want to eat them... that'd just be weird. Can't we just scare them instead?" he adds, half-jokingly, with a grin.

"No!" Fred yells at Teddy. But then he grins and leans close to Teddy. "Don't get me wrong. Fear is wonderful. But we monsters are meant to kill humans. That's all we are, and if we go easy on them, everything will be ruined."

"Hey! Leave him alone!" Alice says to Fred.

Fred turns to Alice. "Or what?"

"HEY!"

Null slingshots itself at Fred.

"YOU LEAVE MY POTENTIAL FRIENDS ALONE!"

Count Cardalu and some of the teachers are already stepping in as well.

"Get him out of here," says Cardalu.

Fred flails around wildly trying to get Null off.

"Get away from me, you punk!"

(The minute the confrontation turns physical, Diogenes hurriedly backs himself into the nearest corner, clenches his eyes shut, and tucks his head into his shoulders so tightly it looks like it'll disappear into his body.)

Whoa, whoa, WHOA! (Elisa tries to intervene by attempting separating the two.)

Null starts rapidly pummeling Fred, although it doesn't do much as they don't have any bones.

Well, well, well. She's not attended a single class and already this school is proving a fine source of entertainment. The Ordinary Human™ leans back against a wall, wanting to be comfortable as she spectates the ensuing battle.

"Okay, that’s enough."

The mannequin also tries to separate the two.

Rosa whimpers from the ceiling

"Awful...thing.."

”Why are we so against killing humans? Isn’t that what monsters are supposed to do?” the pocong asks, tilting his head.

"S-Stereotypes..."

Being a faceless blob means that Dennis can't visually convey any emotions, but being the same faceless blob that he is means that Lelia could probably just feel his sheer bewilderment at the whole situation.

Null's rage-fueled attempted beatdown slowly comes to a stop. They jump away from Fred, stumbling a little upon their landing.

"There's m-more where that c-came from..."

Null is panting heavily.

"Y-you big jerk..."

”Who says stereotypes can’t be true? People always stereotype us pocong and I’d say everything I’ve heard about my kind is true!”

Fred is shocked by Null's reactions and starts to back up.

"Okay... that's enough. And you," he says to Bakti. "You're right. You are supposed to kill humans. This school is brainwashing all of you. But it looks like I underestimated you all. Mark my words. I will be back, and next time, I will make sure this school is destroyed!"

Fred starts to leave.
