Though that's also because Darth Vader is one of the most powerful Force Users to have ever lived. Even taking account his cyborg body meaning he cannot use Force Lightning.
The canon comics really showcase what a One-Man Army Darth Vader is even after becoming a cyborg.

Disgusted, but not surprisedBetween the comics buffing him up, his Rogue One rampage, and his recent showing in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, anyone who thinks that Darth Vader lost a step should understand one thing.
It was only one step...and there's still a few hundred others between you and him.
One Strip! One Strip!A lot of the things Vader does in the OT that are really impressive are a matter of precision and not scale, which, in real life, is generally more difficult.
There's been a lack of precision on Obi-Wan's part for most of his series, which is down to his being rusty. He can still out-fight groups of people, but his actions have a lot of wasted motion and a somewhat frenetic pace that would normally be lacking.

Getting beaten by post-original trilogy Luke isn't that great of an anti-feat, especially considering this is the same Luke who took out a squad of Dark Troopers with ease. (And Mando had problems with only one)
I'm honestly not sure how powerful Kylo is (and by extension Rey who was slightly weaker than him), the only indication is that "he wasn't as strong as Vader", but as shown in the comics, this covers a huge range.

Chris Evans has expressed interest in being in Star Wars
.
He also played a villain in Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and is set to play another one in the The Gray Man (directed by the Russo Brothers and written by Markus and Mcfeely, incidentally).
I'd like to see him as a unhinged Sith Lord.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."I remember when he was announced for Captain America there was some apprehension at first because back then his type was smug showoffs rather than straight laced heroes.
Lucas Lee in the Scott Pilgrim movie is even more of a dick than he was in the comic book, where he was pretty casual and he and Scott just sat around and talked for most of their “duel”.

Oh man, I'm now imagining Lucas Lee as an obnoxious dudebro Sith and I love it.

Disney100 Marathon | DreamWorks MarathonI could also see Chris Evens work well as a Faux Affably Evil imperial officer.

- Darth Sidious: Hey. Big fan.
- Darth Lee: Why wouldn't you be?

"All you Fascists bound to lose."TIL that Rey's yellow lightsaber isn't a double lightsaber. For years, I thought it was a double lightsaber and she only activated one side.
Remind me, has JJ ever stated why she doesn't use a double lightsaber?
Maybe a hatred of the prequels?

"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"Cal Cestus and Jaro Tapal are two exemples of good guys with double lightsabers. There is really no reason for them to be a villain specific thing and Rey did fight with a staff at first, a double bladed saber just seems like a logical evolution from that.

If I recall correctly, Abrams associates double-bladed lightsabers with Maul.
Which is stupid when you remember that 90 % of all canonical double-bladed lightsabers are used by Jedi.
Nevermind that a double-bladed lightsaber would have actually made sense for Rey - she's a skilled staff user.

We learn from history that we do not learn from history

Granted, it's not like the folks at the time have a lot to compare him to. Anyone who could take on Darth Vader is the most powerful Jedi as far as most people are concerned.
