Considering how much of a role the Dagoyan Order is implied to play in Bardottan society, my guess would be Base Delta-Zero.

The Korriban section easily demonstrates why a Light Side Jedi can run circles around an entire academy of dumbass dark siders. We need more examples of magnificent bastard and generally cool Light Side users.

Certain fans would probably argue that they are acting more like Sith or "aren't typical Jedi". It's called magnificent bastard for a reason.

Yeah, and Jedi have high wisdom stats, them being able to read people, and even outplay Dark Siders is cool.

Hell, have you played KOTOR? The Light Side Revan can basically redeem a decent chunk of the academy, and outwit a Sith headmaster while he's at it.

Yeah, the Legendsverse had a lot of different minor Force organizations around. The Blackguards on Mustafar, the Jensarrai, the Blazing Chain, the Kilian Rangers, the Dathomir sisters, and some others.

I mean the Knights of Ren were also distinct from the Sith, weren't they?

Also, just for Samuel Kim being a genius, I'm leaving this epic piece here

The knights of ren are a complete nonenitity as far as the films are concerned, I don't know if disney developed them elsewhere.

The Knights of Ren are basically inquisitors, but weaker.

Well, they don't have enough feats to compare, but I doubt Ben Solo could beat six inquisitors at the same time.

"pathetic Emo whiner"

That insult felt too gratuitous.

In the comics the Knights of Ren are a bit more fleshed out, yes

[up][up][up][up] Well, Samuel Kim often times manages it. Though not strictly with the John William pieces, here's him making an epic version of the Battle of Christophsis

And how old are these guys supposed to be?

That is, being that they are adults in the comics, it would mean that they are at least 50 years old in the ninth movie.

That insult felt too gratuitous.

If it affects your opinion, Kylo Ren is a Love to Hate villain for me.

I like that he's a Vader cosplayer who betrayed his family for literally no reason than he thought the Dark Side was cool.

I'm still confused if that was the original intent or if they went with a tragic villain to appeal to shippers.

Considering Adam Driver has stated that he originally took the role because he was assured that his characters ark would be different from Vaders I'm betting on trying to appeal to shippers.

IIRC, it's stated that The Knights or Ren are in vaguely the same ballpark of power as Sith Inquisitors.

And I would actually say it isn't all that improbable that Kylo Ren is powerful enough to take on multiple Inquisitors at once.

For one, he's implied to be a lot stronger in TROS than he was in earlier movies. Plus, you have to keep in mind that while he's not as strong as his grandpa, that's a pretty high bar right there. He's still in a league above the vast majority of Force Users.

I mean the Knights of Ren were also distinct from the Sith, weren't they?

As of TROS the Knights of Ren were Sith affiliated, being - evidently - the secret death squad of the Sith Eternal, loyal to Palpatine. Kylo just thought they were unrelated to the Sith.

The Knights of Ren are about as much Force-users as Han Solo is. Luke can take on and beat all of them at once, they're that pathetic.

Really, once you know that, it's no surprise that once Kylo had a lightsaber that he cut them down with ease.

I mean Luke beating all of them doesn't mean anything since Luke is the bloodline of the Chosen One with decades of experience.

The franchise has always chosen nature over nurture in its portrayal of Luke’s abilities (at least, in his prime). No matter how powerful his dad is, his comparative lack of training (and general bad luck) means he always survives encounters by the skin of his teeth.

@theLibrarian You have to keep in mind that says a lot more about Luke Skywalker than it does the Knights of Ren.

Luke is very much a one man army, especially at that point in the timeline. In fact, he's outright stated to be one of the most powerful Jedi that ever lived.
