Hi, film lovers and tropers. This is my first post in this forum, so, i hope that you can help me with this.
I've been looking for movies or short films that have a scene or that end with a female character who commits suicide at sea with the purpose of having a visual reference, because i gonna make a short film around this trope as part of my graduation proyect.
Unfortunately, my search has not gone very well because i only found these two titles with that scenes:
- Grand Isle, USA, 1992, Mary Lambert
- Fortunata, Italy, 2017, Sergio Castellitto
It should be noted that these two end up with their protagonists getting into the sea completely naked. Also, i have searched in the section of "Suicide by Sea" in this page, but i need more references to make my script with the most visual reference possible.
So, what other movies know that with this trope?
Any recomendation or suggestion will be extremely welcome 😊
