"Why... why are you humans so persuasive? The man(?) asked. Our Computer said you would stop us.
Suddenly, you see his face bubbling, and then, several snake-like creatures burst through the skin, right at you.
Let's see about that.

Ouch. Ouch. Ouch. You did not expect that. That is gonna leave some nasty scars on your face. Dozens of teeth dig in your face, taking 18 HP, and adding a Scarred Face debuff to your character sheet. (-3 to disguise rolls, unless the disguise calls for similar scars, or for not showing your face.)

Brian (Afterwards) : >Knock on door 106.

You approach the door, ready to knock. Suddenly, you hear the handle turn, and the door swings open, right in your direction.

ROLL TO DODGE THE DOOR

You jump back, send a knockback spell in the direction of the door (you are startled after all), and reflexively ready your sword. It's a good thing too, because what you see inside is some kind of humanoid snake creature in a white suit fighting a man with a hunting rifle. It might be time for combat.

You approach the Man in White. However, some crazy shit happens then. The Man in White turns out to be a shitton of snakes. Alivia tries to leave the room and gets blasted back like a ragdoll. The latter made the snake-man turn around and see you. He's still surprised, but he won't be for long. If you want to attack him, do so now.

After quickly finding out there is no food in the room you're in, you head out to exit the room. You see Austin approach the door to your room with a lockpick. You decide to wait behind him, and then the door opens, you see a blast of light blue energy, Austin barely dodges it, and then you get hit with it, and get blasted backwards with a significant force.

All in all, that could've gone worse. It was a rather spectacular flight, with you first bouncing off of Hefin's bed, then yours, and then landing on the floor, but you took no lasting damage. However, the entire experience did leave you a little bit dazed. You get a -1 to your next roll.

(Also, Alivia. I'm not sure if you realize this, but you're in the room with other player characters. There is stuff happening around your character that I don't describe in your action outcome, because I've already described them in other players' action outcomes.)

Considering you're kidnapped and all, you haven't even considered the door to be anything but locked. It was a right call. You took your lockpicks, raked the (rather poor-quality) lock open, opened the door, and then barely dodged an energy blast headed your way. Same cannot be said for Alivia waiting behind you, but who cares.

Alivia, Hefin, Brian, Austin. Through the now open door to your room, you see some guy with a sword. I'll risk sounding like a captain obvious, and say that this is Afterwards' character.

• Born Leader - You're leader material. Otherwise, you would not be a CEO. You get +1 to leading NPCs (this includes managing a company). If you're the leader of a group of player characters, as long as the majority of them follow your plan, the ones who follow it get +1 to their roll.
• Researcher - You get +1 to all research checks - Finding information is your thing, after all.

And the following equipment:

• Nice suit - An expensive suit, perfect for appearing wealthy and professional without looking tacky.
• Credit card - Has a lot of money on it. Buying cheap items should be no problem for you (unless there's an explicit reason it could be a problem other than money.)
• Business cards - Contain all your business-relevant information. Lets you be remembered by potential business partners.

You wake up in a cargo van, in a sleeping bag. It seems to be this dark reddish color, and it seems to be a Mercedes-Benz of some description.

You gather all your strength, and unleash a massive punch into the creature's belly... or where its belly would be if you were human. The fist goes straight through its body and your arm is now kinda stuck. The remaining snakes are closing in to bite on it.

You struggle to pull out your arm. You do manage to get it unstuck and get it out, but not before getting scratched once or twice. You lose 3 HP. Good news is, the snakes-man is worse for wear. Landing one more decent hit should do the trick.

The guy goes for a desperate attack. He extends his arm and, after a while, a bunch of snakes extends from it, straight at you, Brian. Good news is, that 'while' is enough to see an attack coming, and you get +1 to dodging it.

• Plant control - You possess some control over plants. It passively helps you with farming or gardening, (+1 to those skills), despite you not being trained in those fields. (get it? fields?). It also allows you to tell plants to grapple people. Whether you can do this one or not depends on whether there are plants nearby or not.
• Underwater breather - You can breathe underwater. You're in no danger of drowning at all.
• Writing talent - You are an aspiring author. All the publishers have yet to appreciate your excellence, but you're getting there. (+1 to writing.)

And the following equipment:

• Thick book - A thick novel of your choice. In an emergency, can be used as an improvised weapon or shield.
• Pen and notebook - Not your main way of writing stories, but is useful if you get struck with inspiration and don't want it to escape your grasp.

Umberto (GoldenCityBird), you start with the following abilities:

• Underground connections - You know how to talk to criminals and know some of them personally. (+1 to interacting with criminals)
• Plausible deniability - You had a few run ins with the police. They never hit you with anything yet. (+1 to getting off the hook from the police or other law enforcement agencies)
• Boxing proficiency - You've trained boxing, and then picked up some dirty moves to aid your less official fights. (+1 to unarmed fighting)
• The Confectioner - In your free time, you're the sweetest man imaginable. Or, at least, you make the sweetest things imaginable. Who knows. (+1 to confectionery-making)

And the following equipment:

• Nice suit - Being a mafioso is not just about the dirty work, but also about looking classy while doing it.
• Pink apron - Your favourite one. Has "Don't touch the cook" written on it.

You two wake up in the back of a reddish cargo van. You see a businessman looking guy, already awake (if barely).

Billy, what you thought was just some piled up blankets in the back of the van, turns out to be two people, who just woke up.

You examine the van closely. You find some hidden compartments that would not normally be in a vehicle like this. Must be an aftermarket mod. You find some hair... And you also find scales. You're no reptile expert, but you hold it up closer to examine. Something seems wrong. Something seems very wrong. And then, you find a small camera, hidden in the air conditioning vent.

You look to examine closer, but then you get the gut feeling to back off. You do so, and barely dodge the taser darts coming from the vent. Yup. Whoever installed that camera did not want you finding it. And now that the taser didn't work, you feel something else might be coming too.

You are at a bit of an awkward position, above the center console, and decide to sit on the driver's seat. Something catches your attention though. There is a tip of the blade under the steering wheel. You take it off first, and then sit. And the blade springs forward. If you didn't notice it, it'd be stabbing into your chest right now. But you did notice it, and have an Improvised Knife. Use it well! Of note is that the metal it's made of has a weird, bluish shine to it.

That was not a good shot, to be honest... You were kind of hesitating. Even if the guy was obviously intending to harm you, it still was a thinking creature. It would be wrong to end a life, you know. That hesitation allowed it to almost dodge you. You still managed to hit it, but it only grazed its shoulder. And it didn't even seem like it did any damage, but that has outside reasons.

You start stabbing, but then examine the separated snakes closely and realize they're already dead. Seems like they need to be connected to do their thing.

You make a succesful swing. The hit connects, and would have killed the snake man. However, for outside reasons, the sword just kind of... bounces off its body? See below for an explanation.

Also, as for the drawing skills. I was sorta thinking that with somewhat powerful magic and fighting skills, you would not need one more skill. I thought about some more, and then came to a conclusion I did not make the right call. Here, have a Drawing Proficiency (+1 to drawing), and a Small notepad & Pencil.

Well, as you surely have read the description of your abilities, you know this ability kind of helps your targets. It can heal, it can help someone succeed, it can make someone resistant to damage. As you surely know by now, the snake guy is not exactly friendly and should not usually be the target of such an ability. However, I do trust it's some sort of secret plan I don't know about, and I'm going to make it succeed. The dice dictated that it should succeed particularly well. Well, you've made the snake-man immune to damage for this turn. And since this is an overshoot, I guess it should go horribly right? Well, let's see, your song has brought the snake-man's attention to you.
What are you doing? Do you want to...harm me...with your voice...?' Completely misunderstanding the effects of your power, the creature lunges at you.
