Clever little detail the animators put in. Spoilers inside.
That said, Cloverworks, you clever bitch!
This anime is fun for me because its one of the only series where I rewatch a whole episode at least twice before the next one. Its just so fun to take note of all the little details, especially for the active fight scenes since some move a bit too fast for me to initially follow well.
Also I've been rewatching the op because of the animation and while it still doesn't give me shivers, its stuck in my head now, please help...
I need to get back into Fate/Grand Order so I know what's going on here >.>
I could answer any questions you have via PM, if you're interested.
@Arha:Yes, that's me Setsuna's my fave Negima character. I like her personality. I don't want it to change. If it did, it would have made me like her less.
Alright. Knew you were in the Negima thread but couldn't remember offhand anyone strongly disagreeing with me about characters apart from that.
let's not bring gripes from other threads into unrelated series discussion now shall we.
Though in the end, Mash is a person who will elicit various responses from people- indifference, hate, love. She's got easy marketability factors to her so she'll still be popular in the grand scheme of things even if a few people dislike her in the end.
Would trade her for Gray-tan though, I really, really would.
Though that reminds me, have y'all seen the preview images of the next episode?
Edit:https://anime.fate-go.jp/ep7-tv/story/?story=03 a certain someone returns to cause chaos, we're properly introduced to the rest of Gil's servants and Mash gets a slightly new and quite frankly kinda weird looking little outfit

Well, Arha and I tend to disagree on characters in multiple series, including other parts of Fate. Eg. Arturia is my favourite character, followed by Iri. And unlike most, I have zero respect for Iskander. Arha uses a Rin avatar. I admit that Rin is actually not bad for a tsundere, but in general, I loathe that archetype. Basically, I like people to be sweet.
Shocking surprise people have differing opinions. (Slow clap)
Also Arha has a similar opinion on Iskandar anyway.

I don't care what characters you like or dislike, don't derail this thread with your usual diatribes about them and everything will be fine.
Guys, just breathe
These are all just drawings, no need to make a fuss over them.
Muffin is right, there is no reason to get upset about fictional people. At least as long that degenerate fuckwit Kiyohime stays away from this show.
That's no way to talk to Bathory's girlfriend.
That's even more reason reason to talk about her like that.
man these fights are really good, I especially loved how they got to be more creative with Gil's arsenal as a Caster
I forgot how entertaining Ana and Merlin were paired together.
Nope they couldn't salvage it, Ushiwakamaru's outfit still looks terrible in animation
Ritsuka and Ana were super cute during the dinner scene
The SOL was unfortunately compressed but I think the gist got through.
Gorgon shows up for two minutes and I'm already super excited for Asakawa voicing all the Gorgon scenes
They skip a lot of the context and future emotional catharsis with those montages tho. Where's the blind old florist? The priestesses who pays to shear the sheep and blueballs Mash and Ana from fluffing them? That time when we go investigate an infidelity case and instead fight subterranean lizard people? The old man we gave a bread instead of coin?
They might show the last one in the beginning of the next episode since it is rather important and probably would have been slightly weird way to end an episode.
tbh I never really found the subterranean lizard thing funny
Them cutting out the SOL lends credence to the theory they're going to also do a surprise adaptation of the Time Temple
They skipped the sunterreneans!?
I hope you bite your tongue the next time you laugh Gil.
Sad about the Sol being compressed but overall a good episode. The Mash romance is definitely more bearable when its not directed at me even if I still couldn't care less about it ("Does this outfit look good on me", it's a rag only covering your lower half, try harder next time), Ushi and Benkei's background chatter not being translated was fucking dumb but at least it wasn't anything important. 'Mother' looks amazing.
Gil, I know you like treasures, but try not to steal every scene you're in too, please.
Nice ep anyway. I also would have liked to see more slice of life but I don't know how many episode there are, maybe not enough to linger on that… Regardless, I really love how they make Uruk feel like a city with living, breathing people and not just a background.
Only minus point is… in the middle of all those gorgeous character designs, we get… whatever Ushiwakamaru is wearing. Did someone lose a bet to design this abomination? >.>

There are going to be 21 episodes.
And Ushi's outfit was apparently mandated by Takeuchi Takashi to the artist to make her Hotter and Sexier.

x2 The beginning of FGO was a rocky time for Nasu and Takashi's marriage.
Is 21 episodes counting Episode 0 or not?
Checking the BD box announcements suggests they're not counting Initium Iter, because Episode 21 is listed as the final episode.
