So, I am gonna copy/paste this from the Loud House thread:
I have a question: Is Casagrandes a good show on its own? I’m not much of a spin-offs or reboots person when it comes to cartoons, and Nick has a terrible track record with those. (All Grown Up is inferior to Rugrats, Pre-School Daze was DOA, the Rugrats reboot is uninteresting to me, Planet Sheen is very hated, and the circumstances behind Kamp Koral’s announcement angers me. Not sure on Patrick Star Show but I refuse to watch the Sponge Bob spin-offs as Hillenberg did not want any spin-offs)
I’m not sure how sold I am on Ronnie Ann having her own show to herself. She’s not a favorite of mine. I like her fine but I don’t know if she can hold a show on her own.
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!Well, compared to the other shows, it's not as super different from it's predecessor as the others. I've watched most of season 1 (I want to watch more but I'm super busy), and it was good. When I think about it, it seems somehow more down to Earth, and also somewhat more "cartoony" compared to the Loud House. It feels more down to Earth, because the family isn't oddly super big like the Loud House (it's just an extended family living together), but somehow more cartoony I guess in animation tropes. My memory is fuzzy, but I think the Casagrandes make more wild faces compared to the Loud House. It certainly has a focus on urban living, compared to the suburban focused Loud House.
The description for "Curse Of The Candy Goblin" is rather misleading. It says only Carl, as if only he's learning the lesson, when this also includes Ronnie Anne, Bobby, Carlota, and CJ, who all play a role. It's a good special, but the description needed to be more accurate.
"When Carl takes trick-or-treating too far, he must return his candy to the neighborhood goblin."
That's the description they went with, but learning the lesson applies to everyone.
Miguel Puga said how The Candy Goblin was originally going to be made out of candy, but that was dropped since he couldn't go through a window without breaking it.

The new episodes were released in Italy the day before their American premiere.
Nice to see a different side of Carlos, an evil side. Who knew he was a maniac?
For the other episode, I thought it was a missed opportunity to have Ronnie Anne and/or Becky involved, especially with the theme of bullying.

Jim Conroy said that he's voicing the Candy Goblin in the Halloween special.
