Lucifer and Erza Miller are high up there to me.

Luci's cameo actually got me watching his series, while Erza's was just massive out of left field.

While it wasn't objectively the best, I gotta go with Burt Ward. Can't recount on how many times I've replayed 'Holy Crimson Skies of Death!' grin

I didn't watch Lucifer but the implied history between him and Constantine was amusing.

Tom Weiling made me smile.

Agreed on the Ezra Miller appearance being the most out there in terms of expectations. I really happy with the Welling one especially due to how he got over on Lex. Wrote him off for dead and was pleasantly surprised otherwise.

You know what?

Even though I hated Smallville with a passion on principle, Tom Welling made me smile as well.

Still won't watch the show, but it was cool to see his Superman got a happy ending.

It weird right?

Last crossover the "Save Me" bit was one of my favorite moments, and they still avoid putting Welling in a suit but managed to get me by having him just be Clark.

Man, the Arrowverse wikia is going all out, it seems.

They aren't just updating character pages, they are literally creating new pages for every "Earth Prime" version now, while still listing the original version as "Deceased", see here for example

[up] I mean, the only ones who shouldn't change are the Seven Paragons, right? Because they never died and remembered their old lives when they woke up in the new Earth Prime.

Caught up on the Crisis! I keep kinda losing access to my tv, so I didn't watch the last two episodes, and now the rest of the shows are starting to pile up again.

Anyway, the Arrow episode felt a bit weak to me, and a lot of it didn't land quite right. But it was serviceable, and led well into Legends, which was perfect. Good compromise between bringing back the multiverse and keeping all the CW shows on the same Earth. Now the question is how long Lex can go without doing something blatantly evil.

I'm sure it's answered in the Supergirl episode that I haven't watched yet, but they didn't explicitly say whether or not they gave Lena her memories back. I'm sure they will, because they're not going to derail a major character arc with "whoops, they're friends again because the universe got rebooted," but I'd prefer such a moment to be onscreen.

You should watch the Supergirl episode. Lex made a deal with the Monitor so that Lena would keep all her memories.

That wasn’t how I understood it. Lex has claimed he made a deal to ensure she lives, then he restored her memories using some tech thing. It’s not totally clear that Lex is telling the truth about his ‘deal’ and Lena certainly didn’t have all her memories at the start of the episode. Also they’re acting like only Earth Prime was restored and all other earths are gone.

How would you guys rank all the crossovers. I haven't seen all of them, but my favorites are the two with the words Crisis and Earth in them.

Having only seen bits of Parts 4 and 5 I'd still say this was the best one.

  • more closely based on an existing story than previous crossovers
  • ambitious cast size
  • "wraps" up the "Phase 1" of the Arrowverse
  • Brandon Routh's portrayal of Superman[tup]
  • Tom Weiling and Kevin Conroy making cameos
  • Even if some of the situations felt contrived this had a good balance of "this is completely ridiculous" and "this is actually happening"
  • they finally brought the shows together onto one Earth, and referenced several others
  • Oliver became The Specter

As much as I despise this meme

  • Avengers Endgame: we're the biggest crossover of all time.
  • CW Crisis: hold my beer

I gotta say, Earth X is still my favorite crossover.

"Crisis on Earth X" started off strong, but kind of whiffed it in the end. (See: the double wedding, where Felicity hijacked Barry and Iris's wedding.)

I think the opposite is true of "Crisis on Infinite Earths": it started off kind of weak, but ended incredibly strong. It also had the most cameos of all time, including Lucifer, which I loved. So I'd put COIE above COEX.

I never had a problem with that so that didn't sour my opinion xP

I just thought that Earth X did the best job with giving everyone enough screentime and importance (few exceptions off course but still much better than the rest of the crossovers).

Something that I know disappointed others that didn't bother me about this crossover, was the lack of Reverse Flash. I love the guy, but I don't need to see him again. He's kinda like MCU!Loki. He has been overused to the point that he has lost a lot of his charm to me. I also thought Anti-Monitor was a decent villain. Not much to him, but worked for what he was.

Reverse Flash has more reason to show up compared to MCU!Loki though. To the point it's weird he didn't or wasn't mentioned (unless I missed it) due to the whole newspaper connection.

As of now, it feels like a misfiring of a Chekovs Gun.

Oh I think Thawne is overused too, but his arc needs to be finished before he never appears again.

I have a question as someone who has never read the original comic Crisis on Infinite Earths. Is this a faithful adaptation? Well as faithful as you can do on a TV budget.

There are some iconic scenes in it (like Harbinger killing the Monitor or the Flash desintegrating while running) but overall, no, it's a very loose adaptation.

The overall premise (Anti-Monitor is destroying the Multiverse, Monitor recruits heroes to stop him) is the same, but remember: comics have an unlimited budget, while TV...doesn't. Also, the main goal of the original Crisis was to "streamline" decades of DC continuity, hence why the Multiverse was destroyed and everyone was left with a single Earth.

Yeah this scene confused me

They didn't make everything into a single Earth. v

And what was happening on Earth-21?

Seems like it.

A lot of Earths were apparently reborn, but we know the Earths 1, 38 and whatever earth Jefferson is from were blended together.

Considering Titans and Doom Patrol seem to be separate worlds now, perhaps some earths got split off as well?
