Well I'd figure I'd start a thread on ABC's latest attempt to do to Lost what Hanna-Barbera done to Scooby-Doo since there doesn't seem to be one yet.

Emergence, which aired on September 24 on ABC (though apparently it was originally for NBC) focuses on a Police Chief, an amnesiac girl found at a plane crash and strange happenings that include power outages, the aforementioned crash, and a shadowy group that is looking for the girl. What do you think?

It feels more like a modern stranger things without the portal to a eldritch universe.

You have an escaped girl with special powers and no past, a government conspiracy attempting to hunt her down, and a police chief trying to unravel said conspiracy before it destroys them.

Yeah, it feels very Stranger Things, only set in the modern day and with Allison Tolman. Whom I love, so I like the show. Plus: Clancy Brown and Donald Faison are also both in the show and I love them, too.

The show is also created by Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters, the people who did Agent Carter, so fuck yeah!
