This trope has been here for more than decade, but only has 20 wicks and 577 inbounds. Additionally, nearly all of these wicks and the examples on the page are ZCEs.

    Wick check

Only four good examples. The rest are ZCEs.

Could this be Too Rare to Trope?

[down]Fair enough. Not sure why this is so lacking in examples (or at least properly written ones), then, nor am I sure what could fix that.

Currently sick, so less active. If a Trope Repair Shop thread needs attention, holler or ask an engineer.

No, this is one of the most ubiquitous Stock Puzzle. Definitely tropeworthy.

The problem is, being a stock puzzle, most of the examples will be the same variant of "There's a 3 liter container and a 5 liter container, now we need 4 liters from them".

[up][up] Probably because the trope was originally created back when giving your examples as little context as possible was all the rage, and nobody noticed until now.

Well that's not much of a problem on the work pages, but the trope page... Yeah, that'd get super repetitive. Would there be a way to fix that?

Presumably one could add context about the flavor of the puzzle- i.e. is it buckets of water, sacks of flower, cauldrons of lava, etc., or why the player is being asked to solve it.

[up]That sounds reasonable.

I did some Googling and was able to add context to some of the entries on the page itself. The others are commented out. Anyone willing to tackle the wicks?

Well, the Runescape one seems to be Peer the Seer's trial in this quest:

12 good examples on the page, and what few examples could be crosswicked I crosswicked.

Unless anyone has objections, this thread can be closed (and discussion in the IP thread can continue).
