On Netflix there is a few series named criminal: France; criminal: Germany; criminal: UK and criminal: Spain.
They all share a very similar format (so far three episodes each) and all happen in the same place: two rooms and one corridor (which is therefore pretended to be in every country).
I think it is quite interesting to watch them all and compare countries and what the issues are about.
Episode one of the French series is about the Bataclan 2015 massacre, and investigating someone who may be a fake victim (who has benefited from financial help). I cannot tell how respectful or disrepectful this is to actual victims, but this is interesting.
Also based on how this show represents police interrogations, I'd rather be questioned in Germany than in France (contrary to the post-ww2 stereotype).
