Ask your parents. I made the page but I’m keeping the sandbox draft around just in case.
You’re Gonna Carry That Weight. So with two works out now for the new DCU film universe, I'm going to ask whether Sandbox.DC Universe 2024 should be launched or not?
Also the teaser for the teaser looks good.

It's gonna be fun on the bun! With the Elite/Authority you have to show a case where unlimited unrestricted power shows you crossing the line.
The Authority embody this perfectly. They have no one to answer too and will do anything to protect the world including insane amounts of collateral damage.
Like Superman is already a massively powerful being, do you really want him working without any restraint or rules?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."The easiest way to show why a hero can't kill people they deem bad is to show someone of the Elite or Authority killing someone who is innocent due to bias/false information. A falsely imprisoned person can be released and compensated. A dead person cannot come back (easily in comic universes).
My AO3It would be neat if they also leaned into being like the Seven from the Boys in season 1 and 2 where they were more corrupt superheroes who did fight crime in brutal ways, above accountability, and happened to be celebrities.
As opposed to later seasons where they were more celebrities who aren't even fighting crime anymore.

That's probably one reason why Death Note never brings that up.
Cause if it acknowledges the concept of false accusations and imprisonment, then Light loses absolutely any remaining point he has.
That would work since the Millar run portrays the Authority as rockstars constantly partying, having sex, and doing drugs.
When questioned about him owning an expensive luxury car Jack Hawkmoor's defense is "What I'm a big time guy, I have to have fancy stuff befitting people's perception of me. I can't be dressed like a homeless person after all, that would diminish my credibility"

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I recall Peacemaker (2022) in season 1 having one of the side characters bring up Batman's no kill rule (even though DCEU Batman had definitely killed before), so hopefully that's a sign that this verse will lean more into heroes who don't kill.
"Let’s see who’s stronger: someone that has something to protect, or someone that has nothing to lose."For extra context this is a Superman at the beginning of his career so his powers are unfamiliar and untrained.
Slade gets by through a combination of a power suit and fighting dirty, only taking on Clark when he has a small squadron of robots or other enhanced superhumans covering him.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."

Can't wait to see Superman on the big screen again.
