That’s nice, but in this case it actually has already been refuted.
Here’s video of the inside of a 9-South SHU from when El Chapo was held in one. [1]
As you can see, inmates have normal bedding and normal clothes, and the cell is not fully suicide-proofed. “SHU” just means solitary confinement, not medical confinement.

They should have sent a poet.Shrieking heard from Jeffrey Epstein's jail cell the morning he died
Congress is the latest to start investigating Epstein's apparent suicide over the weekend, with new reports raising questions about the federal jail where he was being held. One of Epstein's guards at the Metropolitan Correctional Center on the night he died was reportedly not a regular corrections officer.
...
With Epstein gone, potential co-conspirators involved in his alleged sex-trafficking network are shifting into focus. British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell is one of four women accused of recruiting underage girls for sex. She's denied those claims in the past and has not been charged with a crime. Maxwell is said to be Epstein's ex-girlfriend turned business associate. Her current location is unknown.
"She was more of a partner in his obsession, really," said Miami Herald reporter Julie Brown, who spent more than two years looking into Epstein's controversial 2008 plea deal. "And there are allegations that she was involved in having sex with some of these girls as well."
This is what I mean by him being a manipulative POS. Even when people knew what he was, he still found a way to get people to treat him like a celebrity and give him what he wanted.
Disgusted, but not surprisedThat ABC video does show a suicide-proofed cell, though? There's nothing in there he can hang himself from (look at the bed - it's a solid slab), the sheets are flimsy, and he's wearing weird brown clothes with sandals and no obvious belt, just as the NY Post article I linked described. Look at the section at 1:25.

What's precedent ever done for us?A little something from today's developing "What the Fuck Just Happened Today" news feed:
The FBI raided the home of billionaire sex offender Jeffrey Epstein on his private island, Little Saint James, in the Virgin Islands. The raid occurred Monday morning, two days after Epstein died in an apparent suicide while in federal jail on charges of sex trafficking and conspiracy to commit sex trafficking. The raids were led by a task force for the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York.

There are multiple points a prisoner could hang themselves on in there. The window grate, several ledges, parts of the door, even the toilet could have done in a pinch. The list goes on. A suicide-proofed cell wouldn’t have any of that. And brown is the standard color for prison clothes, the clothes and bedding there are visibly not paper, which is what tearable bedding and clothing are made from.
Again, 9-South cells are not medical isolation cells. They’re just regular solitary. But hey, conspiracy theories exist in spite of evidence, right? If you’re prepared to believe, the truth can be anything.
The mechanics of the suicide aren’t really the suspicious part here. The leadup to it is the only area with room for foul play, as Silas mentioned. I highly doubt it was foul play, but “guard-assisted suicide” is the only foul play scenario that seems plausible.

They should have sent a poet. Are we looking at the same footage? Every ledge and object in there is (a) low to the ground, and (b) at a right-angle that a rope would slide right off. The window grate has tiny holes, and looks firmly screwed to the wall (and prisoners aren't allowed screwdrivers for what seem like really obvious reasons). The only possible exception is the door handle, and the video's too low-res for us to see what's going on there.
What's precedent ever done for us?I honestly think its disgusting how this case is being used in an attempt to score political points/incriminate the other side.
Shouldn't the truth and tending to the victims be priority No 1?

You’re underestimating how easy it is to suffocate yourself. Any number of those objects would work. There’s no need for a “short drop and a sudden stop”, all you need to do is cut your airflow. If he was being held in a double without a cell mate like some of the reports you linked are suggesting it would have been even easier, as doubles have bunk beds. The grate would have made a hanging trivially easy as well, those gaps are wide enough to pull a bedsheet through.
At this point it seems pretty clear you’re willing to believe it couldn’t have happened regardless of any evidence that comes forward, so I don’t see how this can even be a debate.
I guess a better question would be what evidence could possibly sway you? A picture of the inside of the exact cell?

They should have sent a poet.Jeffrey Epstein’s gal pal Ghislaine Maxwell lying low at Massachusetts mansion
“She’s become a real homebody, rarely ventures out. She’s the antithesis of the woman who traveled extensively and partied constantly with Epstein,” a source familiar with Maxwell’s new life told the news outlet.
...
Last month, the Daily Mail observed Borgerson running errands in the affluent community of Manchester-by-the-Sea, about 25 miles northeast of Boston.
Later, he was seen walking Maxwell’s pooch on Boston Common near his apartment where he lives during the week while running his company.
Borgerson initially declined to comment on his relationship with Maxwell when contacted by the Daily Mail, but later told the paper, “I’m traveling abroad for business. Ghislaine Maxwell is not at my home and I don’t know where she is.”
Also this reddit post
makes it pretty clear that GM is guilty as sin in this whole thing.

The autopsy found broken bones in his neck so an interesting case gets more interesting.
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters.Report: Epstein autopsy finds broken bones in his neck
The article notes that said injuries are consistent with hanging or strangulation.
Other tidbits include the fact that one of the two guards assigned to watch Epstein was a staffer temporarily reassigned to that duty and both were working overtime shifts (which they volunteered for).
Also, the warden of the prison was temporarily reassigned in the wake of this.

Disgusted, but not surprisedBreaking your neck via hanging requires a drop, not just cutting off your airflow. From the video posted earlier, there was nothing in his cell high enough to let Epstein drop hard enough to break his neck - the noose needs to be supporting your entire body-weight, so it has to be higher than neck height when you're standing up even once it goes taut
This is real weird.

What's precedent ever done for us?

PRATT doesn't actually mean that the point's been refuted. Only that the person arguing against it is tired of doing so.
From the perspective of the Trump administration, the Trump-Russia connection is a PRATT argument. If you asked Sarah Huckabee, she would tell you that time and time again, they've refuted the Trump-Russia connection, and yet for some reason the press and the Left keep hammering that point like it hasn't been disproven a million times. While demonstrating the same frustration over having to repeat these talking points that you're displaying now.
PRATT is a measure of stamina in the face of an argument that refuses to die. It doesn't actually mean you're right.
See also: dropping the words "We've been over this" into a resurgent debate, implying that at some point you made the magical Instant Win argument that settled the matter once and for all rather than everyone else just getting sick of arguing about it. A person can declare victory over a topic whenever they want, but that doesn't mean everyone else is obligated to agree.
