There is a moratorium on merging character pages, so don't ask for that.
Character pages are a large chunk of the wiki, but they're often filled with problems that don't get resolved. These problems include:
- Zero Context Examples
- Indentation problems, including bulleting tropes under supertropes or tropeslashing
- Spoiler tag misuse
- A lack of alphabetization
- Empty character folders
- Plagiarized character descriptions
- Misused tropes, or tropes that don't belong on character pages
- Broken or incorrect formatting
- References to Dummied Out content for video game characters.
- YMMV / Trivia trope mentions
Per How to Create a Character Page, character pages should only include tropes that describe the characters. These tropes should fall under Characterization Tropes or one of its related indexes, Unless they're recurring character traits (distinctive things that the character does repeatedly).
If you're unsure what counts as a character trope, you can ask about that at Are These Character Tropes
.
All characters must have at least one contextualized trope for their section or folder to be visible. If you find a character that has no contextualized tropes present, comment out the entire section and add this tag:

Other relevant threads:
- Problems with pre-existing images on Characters page need to go via Image Pickin'
. Low quality images can usually be upgraded without discussion, but don't change or delete images without Image Pickin' approval.
- Contentious characters attracting complaints and exaggerations (e.g. when their status as The Scrappy starts impacting examples for other tropes) have their own thread
.
- Character-Specific Pages have their own separate cleanup thread
- Self-demonstrating character pages also have their own thread
.
- Inanimate objects and locations on character pages have their own cleanup thread
- Character pages for Reality Show contestants are on-topic here, but there's also a dedicated Reality Show cleanup thread
which deals with the No Real Life Examples, Please! grey areas these shows create, and may sometimes be a better place to discuss them.
- Character pages for the Marvel Cinematic Universe have a dedicated thread here

He/His/Him. No matter who you are, always Be Yourself.Characters.Power Rangers Unworthy has more tropes on its character page than it does its main page. This probably isn't good, right?
"She is a girl" - THE HAMLET GLUTTON![]()
![]()
Merge the sequel page into a separate sequel characters section.
![]()
Foreign VAs should be under a note, but no issue.
Only if the work's page is cutworthy for being a stub; helps if you give it a few more tropes and ZCE fixes.
Your Turn To Die Others is 11k. The other three subpages are above 100k, so where's the short page going?
Most pages under Survival of the Fittest are tropeless and that's a lot of pages than visible on the surface, some assistance may be needed.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupThe characters page for Minecraft has an entry for the Armor Stand, which is a non-living utility item. The entry justifies it by saying that it's implemented as a living entity which spawns naturally and can be attacked, but to me, this seems more like an artifact of the way they're coded than the Armor Stand actually being intended to be a living creature and not just a placeable item. Should it be cut?
Passive entities are not characters TV Tropes allows to have a folder and "Living objects" are not Mobs. "Living objects" is not even a real Minecraft designation.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupThe image sizes for Venom: Main Hosts seem a bit small. Should they be buffed up from 250 to 300 or 350?
I find out that Characters. The Office US Michael Scott, Characters. The Office US Dwight Schrute, Characters. The Office US Secondary Characters, Characters. The Office US Recurring Characters, and Characters. The Office US Threat Level Midnight Characters are still up even though Characters. The Office US subpages have been reworked so that those pages can be considered merged or renamed. Should they be turned into redirects?
"Your father was an average fighter, Kal-El, but he was a brilliant scientist!"I made Calvard Politicians And Important Figures since the Characters.Trails Series Calvard Miscellaneous was getting too long. How does it look?
She/Her | Currently cleaning: N/A
The moved "Langport" and "Oracion" sections are a bit weird since they now only have one subsection, making the two-level subheadings redundant. Also, just to be sure, where would the characters in the "Other Langport residents" and "Other Oracion residents" go after the split?
Now "Crime Syndicates" and "Institutes" are the ones with redundant subheadings.
I still can't imagine how the main page would look like after the unusual split, but I'm probably not familiar enough with the work to judge (outside of universal formatting stuff).
"Your father was an average fighter, Kal-El, but he was a brilliant scientist!"Double post but The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- have a lot of uncited entries and veer into speculation simply due to having the same Creator as Danganronpa. Should I send it to the cut list and make into a sandbox?
She/Her | Currently cleaning: N/AI think we should add a dedicated Amphoreus page for Honkai: Star Rail's character page.
From Characters.Penny Arcade Adventures (WARNING: Spoilers!).
- Word of God: The Fourth God's name is unmentioned in the game. Jerry Holkins provided the name at a Q&A panel at PAX Prime 2013.
Is there any alternative to the Trivia trope for the character sheet?
Edit: the trope is a trivia.

It's Trivia not YMMV, but you probably want No Name Given.

Bumping
the KCD and KCD 2 character page issue again.
Unless there are any objections, I'm planning on separating them based on whether they appear in the first or second game.
