This is a thread to discuss those Administrivia pages in need of a little updating- you know the ones. The ones that still cite rules we've long since changed, or the ones that don't properly cite our current standards. Some of them are even scattered in Main/!
So, this is the place to take those pages and fix them up with the help of the community.
For a list of current projects, see Outdated Administrivia Pages.
Note: This thread is not for asking mods to make one-off edits to Locked Pages, Administrivia-related or otherwise, such as requesting additions to an Example Sectionectomy index. Please use this thread for that.

Awesome
Since you're here, thoughts on transplanting Loaded Trope Word and Trope Idea Salvage Yard to Administrivia/?
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessOn the former — I've not really thought much about that page in specific, but it is a page only indexed on Administrivia, so that's enough to make me want it in that namespace by default and would need an investigation to want it in a different index or namespace.
On the latter — I'm fine with it moving to Administrivia/ and would suggest that it might have overlap/subindex to Needs Wiki Magic Love as these are where NWML tropes might end up without enough love.
Link to TRS threads in project mode here.Moving these two pages to the Administrivia/ namespace is OK, in my opinion.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanCan we start doing crowners for whether to move things to the Administrivia namespace? It seems like part of why the decision-making process in this thread is so slow-paced is the fact that gauging consensus via posts is often kind of hard due to the slow-paced nature of posts in this thread.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. This thread kinda runs differently, right? I'm thinking just one mod go-ahead (unless another mod objects) is good enough to move. It'd take a long time to get 10 crowner votes in a low-traffic thread about policy pages.
Yeah, and when it comes to Administrivia/ it's something we really need mod fiat for, not just a few votes.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI like to see several votes in favour of a move before I take action. I actually do lurk more than I post, as surprising as that may sound due to my posting history. Becoming a moderator has slightly increased my lurking tendency, in hope to balance out my new authority.
Link to TRS threads in project mode here. For which one? Both?
Because Trope Idea Salvage Yard has been discussed time and time again by multiple people, such as at the TRS meta thread (mostly there, in fact), and I've never seen any disagreement to having that page be moved just like Tropes Needing TRS was (which was moved unilaterally by Septimus, making it seem less like we need consensus and more like we just need a mod to agree with us).
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessFor in general. I was double-checking the status of my earlier post and so the Works Page sandbox has been copied over and cut, and now I've made the move for TISY.
On the other hand, the NSTAN sandbox seems fairly well-received and nobody has spoken out against LTW, but I haven't made any further changes yet.
Link to TRS threads in project mode here.Septimus discussed moving Tropes Needing TRS on the discussion page before moving it, and at least one other mod (Berrenta) provided input on the idea. I wouldn't call it unilateral if he at least brought it up with other mods, since they work as a team (I think the only exception is handling suspensions for text-altering plugins, since that's simply a matter of making sure the plugin is either disabled for TV Tropes or uninstalled entirely).
Edit: Here's the discussion in question for whether to move Tropes Needing TRS to Administrivia.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.I didn't know it was brought up on the discussion, so all I knew is that he'd moved it one day with (seemingly) no talk about it. But that's the risk when you use normal discussion pages. Things get overlooked.
Either way, I didn't mean it as a negative thing against Septimus. I just didn't know the move was talked about beforehand.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessNamespaceGoesHere.Title Goes Here was fixed. Just thought I'd mention that because I don't think anyone else mentioned it.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.A low-priority update, but Troping Under the Influence, written in 2013 and not substantially updated since then, could use a bit of polish to bring it up to modern standards.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.Maybe, but honestly. I think the page looks fine as is right now, it explains the principles well enough and the style seems acceptable.
Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods of Incremental)The main issue catching our eye is the "if an article created under the influence turns out to be So Bad, It's Horrible, it can be nominated for the Cut List" bit, honestly. If we recall correctly (and hey, shouldn't this be on Timeline.TV Tropes?) the Main namespace lock happened after this article's creation, making that particular issue a lot less likely to happen.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing. One can always make a shit work article or a subpage under the influence, though admittedly, that seems to be a bit uncommon. (Agreed that the Main/ namespace lock could be mentioned on the timeline, but I'm not certain anyone knows a relatively precise timeframe for when it was implemented.)

Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods of Incremental)So... Author Existence Failure has been renamed to Died During Production. On Administrivia.Text Formatting Rules, in the Comments folder, it mentions the no-longer-existing trope name. Should it be kept or removed?
Come play Character Uplift Game!Maybe replace it with some other trope? Here's my idea (based on Unperson)
This editor has been %Unpersoned!%This editor has been !
%%This editor has been Unpersoned!Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods of Incremental)
Could work, since Unperson is about the whole record of a person's existence that gets erased.

Thank you for the feedback. Swapped it in.
Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods of Incremental)Needs a Redirect was apparently written back when anyone could create a page in Main/ and Fan Myopic trope names were accepted.
I think we should just redirect Administrivia.Needs A Redirect to Administrivia.Creating New Redirects, since the latter page is more detailed and takes the Locked Pages thread into account.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Hey, should we update Wick again? There's been concerns brought up at TRS that a lot of "not thriving tropes" aren't on the list because they're problem pages but because they're Forgotten Tropes or tropes for less-troped mediums, like advertising.
We could always make a note that makes an exception for pages like these, which just can't naturally collect more tropes, to save them from being purged in the TRS effort unless absolutely necessary.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure Pureness
All I was waiting for was a decent enough "What does it get replaced with?"
