This is a thread to discuss those Administrivia pages in need of a little updating- you know the ones. The ones that still cite rules we've long since changed, or the ones that don't properly cite our current standards. Some of them are even scattered in Main/!
So, this is the place to take those pages and fix them up with the help of the community.

Note: This thread is not for asking mods to make one-off edits to Locked Pages, Administrivia-related or otherwise, such as requesting additions to an Example Sectionectomy index. Please use this thread

But I just realized we might need a page for explaining the notifier system and what notifiers currently exist. A recurring issue on ATT is for people to not understand what they are or how they work, and a page to explain the process and maybe to list the existing notifiers might be a good idea.
If this should be taken to a new "Administrivia Drafting" thread, I'm willing to do so.

I had an idea of creating a crowner for moving pages to Administrivia where appropriate, like what we've got at the Trivia and No Real Life Examples, Please! cleanup. It would help us formalize the decisions and keep tabs on what needs to be moved.
EDIT: I get the impression that TV Tropes Will Ruin Your Life needs to be moved out of mainspace, but where should it go?

I think that moving pages to Administrivia/ is a little too nuanced a decision to be made by crowner. It also isn't a thing that needs to be speedy, either.
As for TV Tropes Will Ruin Your Life, actually, I think it needs to stay. It's a documented phenomenon (I've seen it mentioned on the Wikipedia page about us) and thus akin to other web tropes like Flame War. As part of the Definition-Only Pages TRS I was planning to have a more general discussion about web tropes that it could be folded into.

I don't think we need such a crowner, people tend to agree unanimously whether a page needs to be moved or not (and so far, I've seen mostly cases where they do agree). As for keeping tabs of moves needed, that's probably better as Sandbox.Outdated Pages' job.
As for TV Tropes Will Ruin Your Life, sorry, but I don't know where it'd be moved. It's not listed on Administrivia nor Just for Fun (though the page type is "Fun"), so it seems hard to judge what it'd fit, as the indexes suggest it's more of An Aesop-based trope.

Trope Decay should be Administrivia. It is where the usage of a trope shifts toward a persistent, incorrect definition.

Should Main.Image Pickin be moved to Administrivia.Image Pickin, since Administrivia.Trope Repair Shop is already in that namespace?
If we move the page and there are hard-coded links to Main.Image Pickin, we can leave it as a redirect, similarly to what was done with Main.Word Cruft and Main.Edit War.

I would venture that CamelCase isn't really a trope. That said, I'm not at all sure why there's two functionally-identical pages with completely different content in both Main/ and Administrivia/.

Yeah, not really a trope. Looks like a misplaced Just for Fun page. Either way, I don't think Main.Camel Case should be left as is obviously.

Main.Camel Case might be worth turning into a Definition Only Page, regardless of which namespace it's in; I'm not really sure, so this is just a comment and not a vote. I don't think Just for Fun sounds right, since it's common with non-joke things (particularly with technology; Wiki Words and Apple devices and software come to mind).
I suppose there's precedent for moving general terminology to Administrivia, since Main.Edit War was moved to Administrivia.Edit War since it focused on TV Tropes edit wars more so than edit wars on other wikis.
