Regarding the last post on the previous page: Maybe this can be done solely on the main Alliterative Name page.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI'm fine with that.
You can't always get what you want.- So, you're talking about my post, and suggesting that we update the trope's page to only allow listing Fanfic examples that are original to the Fanfic, but letting all examples on work pages, regardless of their source?

Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576There's already a comment at the beginning of the page's code saying not to list duplicates in derivative works, and it looks like someone already took care of the fanfiction section's duplicates. Are we done, since we don't seem to be touching wicks (per what Septimus Heap said about the ATT consensus)?
Edit: Also, I posted a notice on the discussion page regarding the decision.

This is what I changed it to:
Discussed in this Trope Repair Shop thread: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=1564420686092266300
It originally said this:
Noted in this discussion thread: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=1564420686092266300
Edit: I originally copied the comment markup, but I removed that from this post because it seems to break things on the forums.

I personally agree that derivative examples, if they contain no unique information or context, don't need to be listed.
