ITT: We're Animals in a Post-Apocalyptic Town

"Wh-what are they going to do to Ricky?" asks the turtle.

"Listen, um..." says Peter. "What's your name?"

"S-Stanley..."

"Stanley, did you see what happened next?" Peter asks.

"Well, I think..." Stanley says slowly. "I think I heard them go... in there."

He points towards the abandoned old church.

Jack realizes he scared Stanley with his last comment. Ouch.

"I'm sorry, Stanley. We'll get him back. We won't let anything happen to him. Right, guys?"

Right!

"Let's get in there and save Ricky!" says Jack.

"Yeah," says Peter. "Don't worry, we'll find him for sure. Listen, Stanley, it might not be safe for you to stay here. Can you make it to school on your own?"

"All right... thanks..." says Stanley. With that, he heads off.

"Well, it's time to go in there," says Peter, turning towards the church. "Be careful, guys."

Peter leads the way into the church. It definitely looks like it hasn't been used in a while; the windows are dirty, the pews have collected a lot of dust, and there are a few cobwebs here and there. It's also rather dark.

Krista inches along with the group as well, uneasily

Yeah, uh, I'm getting the heebie-jeebies again. (Wanda remarks as they head in.)

"I would call out for Ricky, but I don't want those other guys to hear us..." says Jack.

"I don't see anyone..." Peter says, as quietly as he can for the rest of the group to hear him. "Maybe they're further over there," he adds, starting to head towards the back.

Y-yeah....he better be....

Who fired a C-H at this perfectly good town? Now look what you did!
