"It is a bit dark in here," says Peter, squinting to try and see better as he steps into the cave. He can hear his voice echoing off the walls a bit. "And a bit slippery. Sorry, guys, I completely forgot to bring a flashlight..."

Krista looks through the cave we trance to try and find a stick. thinking the she managed to find one she slithers back to the group.

"Hmm... I think I hear something... over here," says Peter.
He bumps into what appears to be a large rock, though it's still too dark to see it probably. He tries feeling it with his hands. It feels oddly soft and squishy.

Thanks. (Wanda says to Krista. She tries to light the stick in a hurry so they can see what Peter hears.) Fireball!
(The stick is lit with a small flame, and Wanda moves in Peter's direction.) What is it? (She asks him as she walks over.)

As soon as Wanda comes over with the light, it becomes clear that the thing Peter just bumped into is pretty big, and that it's not a rock.
In fact, it's alive. It appears to be some sort of really big salamander.
"M-monster!" says Peter, taking a couple of steps back.

Krista jumps back and hisses at the suddenly appearing salamander.

Whoa! (Wanda stumbles backwards and nearly drops her torch upon seeing the enormous salamander.)
"Lucian, don’t be afraid, we’ll make it through this."
"Yikes!" says Jack. He prepares to fight, though he's unsure what to do.
"Humans and robots living together in harmony and equality. That was my ultimate wish."

The salamander does not move.
"Huh... wait a minute," says Peter, drawing closer to get a better look. The creature can be heard breathing slowly, but its eyes are closed.
"Oh, wow... it's asleep!"

Krista begins to slowly slink around the creature, keeping white as she does.
Tell....everyone...."Do you have any idea what this is, Rena?" Jack whispers to Rena.

"Well, I've heard that giant salamanders could be found deep in the jungle here in Crystal Shores," says Rena. "But I never thought they'd get this big..."
As she starts snapping pictures of the creature, it stirs a bit in its sleep. The group should also be able to see that there is a path ahead going further into the tunnel, although the creature is blocking the way.
"Hey, be careful! You're going to wake it!" Peter tells Rena.

"There seems to be a path up ahead going further in, but this guy is blocking the way," says Peter. "We could try squeezing through by the wall, but he might wake up..."
The salamander shudders a bit in its sleep and sniffs the air.

Hi, welcome to the thread. Right now, our characters are exploring a deserted island, and it might be a bit complicated to have a character join that arc halfway through. If it's okay with you, I'd prefer to have your character be back in town for now, and I can try to have some NPCs interact with them there.

He approaches the waterfall until he is close enough to have a look behind it.
"Hey, what do you know?" he says. "It looks like you were right, Jack! I do see some room behind there. I think we can get in by stepping over those rocks here..."
