ITT: We're Animals in a Post-Apocalyptic Town

Krista continues on silently.

Cameron silently follows the group.

"Yeah," Jack agrees. "Now I'm curious to see what else lies here..."

Jack follows.

The group goes into the next chamber, which is a bit larger than the one they just left. There is another door across the room from them, but it appears to be shut tightly. However, they will notice that the room has six small circular slots on the floor, each with a small crystal orb in a different color: red, blue, green, orange, yellow, and white.

(Wanda takes in their surroundings and what's in the room.) So...what do we need to do here? Do we need to do something with those orbs?

What if..we do them in a certain order?

"The door we came in through said not to remove "the crystal". Which one is the crystal?"

"Hmm," says Peter. "Yeah, I wonder what that means..."

As Professor Diggs begins to look around the room, Peter walks up to the red orb and tries pulling it from its slot. It easily comes loose; he picks it up and examines it.

The group may also notice another message engraved on one of the room's walls: Starting from the furthest point, follow the clock as you go from coldest to warmest.

Coldessst to warmessst...hmm...

"Coldest to warmest?"

Cameron looked lost in thought for a second.

"Maybe it means coldest to warmest in colors?"

Could be...but I can't exactly tell what colorsss are which...I'm colorblind, by the way.

It's worth a shot... (Says Wanda.)

(She looks a bit surprised to hear that Krista is colorblind.)

"Ah," says Peter, also a bit surprised and wondering how he can explain the colors to Krista. "This one is red," he says, holding up the orb. "If the writing over there is referring to their colors... then I think this is probably the one they meant by warmest? Red is usually associated with fire."

"I think that's correct."

Krista attempts to follow along with what's being described to her, offering a small nod.

Then what?

"Red is the warmest... after that, I imagine we'd have orange, yellow, green, and blue," says Peter. "But I'm still not sure what we're supposed to do with these orbs. The message says to follow the clock, but I don't see a clock anywhere in this room."

Are we supposed to move them or arrange them clockwise or something? (Wanda suggests.)

Could be that, yeah..

"Ah! That makes sense! A clever deduction, Ms. Wanda," says Professor Diggs.

"Yeah, that must be it!" says Peter. He glances at the orb in his hand again, then at the others still in their slots. "All right, guys, can you help me take the other orb out of their slots? Then we can rearrange them."

Alrighty...

(Wanda moves to move the blue one of its slot as best as she can with such short arms.)

Krista, despite her stated colorblindness, tries to follow the others and grab an orb of her own.

Which one did I grab?

"That's the green one," Peter says to Krista.

Cameron would pick up the orange orb.

Jack picks up the yellow orb.

Green..green...where do I put it?
