Knights for Tomorrow: A Second Try-Sign ups

Odd things often happen in pairs, or at least that is what it seemed on the faithful day a massive alien ship appeared over England. That day came to be known as Contact Day. Only an hour after its arrival above the world the ship dropped down a massive coffin, containing within a creature that was a mockery of the human form, with all to many limbs and on level with the tallest buildings mankind had ever produced. Traditional weaponry did little to stop it, and with little effort it tore through the countryside, approaching ever closer to civilization.

Along with the creatures terrifying approach the alien ship began to launch massive blasts of energy down onto the planet, the air burning as it passed. But before they could touch the planet a golden barrier appeared, rendering the blasts useless.

The barriers summoning matched the appearance of a massive gated castle appearing in the English countryside, shinning in a true radiance that could be seen for miles. From it six swords came out, each containing the spirit of a former Knight of the Round. Each had given their essence toward preserving the future, forgoing their promised Avalon to protect the future from threats that would result in the utter destruction of mankind.

As each decedent claims their weapon they gain two boons, the first being a change to their appearance along with an increase in their physical attributes, and more importantly a link to their Knight, a massive machine powered by the brave soul of their ancestor, given life through their connection. Together with the power of the machines, the fortress of Camelot, the knowledge of Merlin they have a chance to fight back against the forces that seek to claim their world.

Or else they will fall, just as Camelot did once before.

Assorted Info that wouldn't fit well into intro

• Game takes place in modern times, so someone is probably tweeting about the alien and kaiju over the English countryside.
• Where exactly this takes is up for debate. 'The Countryside' mostly refers to the midlands, start out away from major cities
• Camelot's exact location is just 'in the country side'. I am not from England, and geography is painful enough.
• The starting posts will be retrieving the weapons that appear before the player (be it in public or private, the weapon appears and their ancestor's spirit speaks from within it) before moving on to the first battle.

• Knight: The Dawnbreaker, an imposing humanoid machine on white with green rim carrying two heat swords, a powerful thruster and a force field, made for fight up close and charge to the opposition. Has a cannon hidden, but on the whole, made for fighting up close.

• Worth: Courage, there is something in him that keeps him.

• Background: Oliver always considered himself a rather normal, with loving parents, a big brother he admired. But as it is, his own passion and dreams have caused him trouble for his whole life, not backing down and backtalking teachers, even picking fights with more than one punk or criminal. But beyond that, he wanted to be a professional soccer, which has caused a fair amount of fights with his father, who tried to talk him into being a lawyer, but he never really wanted to. But now, with the invasion, his dreams are on hold as he stands up to protect humanity.
