Ep 21:
- You just gotta love Giyuu. Not only he's one of the most badass, but this episode revealed that he's also one of the funniest. It's apparent that he didn't take being told he is disliked very well.
And yeah, I like seeing him with Shinobu as well.
- Yay, Kanao! She is so adobs, just like...hell, every girl in this series.
- So the Demon Slayer Corps actually has a support brigade. Good on them! Logistics are important.
- Woo, the Pillars. This gives me a bit of Bleach feel.
Ep 22:
- The Pillars loom freaking weird and possibly psychotic. Giyuu appears to be the only sane person among them.
- I don't even know which one I find the weirdest, but the monk guy creeps me out the most, due to my personal experience with religious nutjobs. XD
- I like how the Fire Pillar's expression and words don't match up.
- Dat headbutt. I'm gonna go ahead and bet that Tanjiro would try headbutt Muzan and either it works...or goes completely other way around and Tanjiro's head hurt instead.
- Dat pink pillar. She's totally designed as a Ms. Fanservice and moe character, from the looks of it.
- I like to imagine that Giyuu actually wasn't told about the letter, and when he heard about the whole suicide pact, he silently thought "Wait, what? I didn't agree to this!"
- Also, the Corps Leader...Did...did he just bring up presumed innocent until proven guilty? Holy shit, this is literally the first time I ever saw the concept applied in Japanese media.
Seriously, I'm pretty sure Rengoku (that's the flame pillar's name I think?) fell into the same chemical vat as the Joker in The Killing Joke. At least Shinobu's eyes move when she talks, but he's just… stuck in that creepy expression…
x3 Oy, no talking shit about my buddy Himejima! You anime-only pleb!
Maybe saying he's worse than Mineta was a bit much but at the very least comparing the two from where I'm at with them as characters, they're on about equal levels to me.
He wasn't hoping to die though. He just thinks he's going to. You said youre just halfway through but he does have an episode that details why he does whatever he does in the second half so I'll refrain from spoiling that but the debt thing is a bit more complicated that. That said, he's a cowardly lion archetype is what I meant by my statement. He'll cry and scream, but he will always do his job.
As for taking no for an answer, he only really does that in his introduction. Hes certainly girl crazy but forcing his affections on someone who make it obvious they don't care never happens again. Honestly the author makes all the characters 80% more intense on introduction.

I absolutely cannot help but adore handsome 2D boysThe eyes are one of my favorite things here. The very unique way they are drawn that makes the expressions of say Rengoku (yes he’s the fire pillar) & Sanemi (the wind pillar) very particular expressions.
Rengoku’s lack of expression due to his eyes is pretty hilarious.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I’ve always imagined him with a voice like say a news anchor person.
Perpetually high, booming, & emphasizing, but rather unsettling cause it was apparently always stuck in the same range & sounds flat.
It’s like in the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air where Hillary dated that news anchor guy who always spoke in a loud booming which got creepy quickly cause he always talked like that even off the clock.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."
X5. The anime and the manga have really subtle hint about Zenitsu nature. Despite how terrified and scare he act, he have never abbadon the people he have to protect. Even when facing a demon and scare to death, he still priority the kid life over himself. That speak volume about his nature, fear doesn't stop him from doing the right thing. As for the clingy stuff, Zenitsu have super hearing, this allow him to sense people nature and the lies they told from birth. He became super attach to people that genious care and want to help him( which he can tell apart from those faking that due to his ability).
Zenitsu has done more heroic and badass things in the span of seven or so episodes than Mineta did in two hundred chapters or some. And Zenitsu only gets more restrained and badass as the manga goes.
So, no. They're not anywhere near the same level.

Continuously reading, studying, and (hopefully) growing. Is this really a comparison worth meriting?
Mineta is a side character with a very utilitarian power, Zenitsu is a lead trained in direct combat.
Like of course Zenitsu gets more awesome moments. That's not something to be argued, its basic logic.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Zenitsu is yellow which is a colour that draws me in a lot. I have forgiven a character for acting crazy just cause he's yellow.
Though in general I really like the designs in this series. Really hells characters stand out, from the eyes to the hair to the accessories. Only downside is that it makes the mob characters stand out more, unlike heroaca
