"Go ahead, shuffle it" she said handling her the deck. Her devilish glare exuded confidence that could only be had by someone that had never lost in their lives.
Gathered crowd
"Hmhmhmhm. Such a fierce gaze from a rare beauty. Although...perhaps you're overconfident? After all, all luck must one day run out."

"If I may." Fiora reached out for the woman's deck. The woman's smile made her shudder. "May I see the content of your deck as well?"
Where there's life, there's hope."By all means" she says hand waving.
Her deck was very unusual. It was a masked heroes deck, which wasn´t a strategy that usually worked well with the exodia cards. But why would they need to? If one could draw any card they wanted to, it didn´t mattered which deck you ran.
Aside from Exodia, she had a ton of dangerous traps as well.
So we have to count on having decent draws, and not run into trap cards, and not getting Exodia on our turn.
Let's hope her power only applies to Exodia, then.
Fiora placed an Exodia on the bottom of the deck and handed to the woman.
"I don't think it matters if I shuffle your deck. Please do it yourself."
Where there's life, there's hope."Very well" She shuffles the deck, her movements are suave, and akin to those of a cassino dealer.
She then draws the top 5 cards, and surely enough...
"I win" she says showing the 5 pieces of Exodia.
"Tell me Maiden of Stardust, did you ever believed you had what it took to play with the big boys?" she says.
Drake doesn't react much to the very inevitable way the deck played out.
"Huh... Yeah wow nice pulls."
He smiled and opened up his pack to get his own deck out.
"Don't mind me, just gonna check my own deck tech. I'm not here for the whole Gambler deal"
Drake wandered back a bit and leaned against a wall to look at his cards with a smile.
It's clearly a case of backroom political albumizing."Shit," Aaron thought as he looked at the miraculous Exodia, "Ok, so either she's cheating, or a duel spirit is cheating it for her."
He backed away from the group slightly and looked down at the gem, trying to focus and call out one of the Lords to get their opinion.
Sure enough, nothing. Not even Umbra.
"Great," He muttered, rolling his eyes.
Wait what?Fiora wrapped her arms around herself.
"I... I was never a great duelist. And... how do you know?"

Where there's life, there's hope."There are many people here whose auras aren't exactly subtle. It's a simple technique really" she handwaves.
"So these are the types of duelists drawn to the mountain..."
-Chase fiddles with his hair idly.-
"Interesting...if disheartening."
He begins to pace in and out of the gathered people. "Hrmm..."
Fiora's left eye turned blue and Stardust began to speak.
"Who are you, and how did you come to possess such power?"
Where there's life, there's hope. With a bit of a curious stare, Drake wandered back over to the Exodia-drawing duelist and adjusted his sunglasses with a glint.
"So, heart of the cards yeah? I get it, it's a nice trick but uh..."
He shrugs.
"Exodia is the easy way to win. How can you call yourself a great duelist if you're winning off of a cheap mechanic like Exodia match after match?"
Again, Drake shrugs his shoulders and takes a step back.
"What would you do if someone just took your Exodia cards and threw them off a cliff?"
It's clearly a case of backroom political albumizing.Simon looks at the winning hand in surprise, rubs his eyes, and looks again.
"Can a power like that actually exist? Even without Exodia, being able to draw any card you want...it makes it impossible to lose." He murmurs to himself.
He then approaches the mysterious lady.
"Sorry if I'm interrupting miss, but what's your name? Would hate to not put a name to a tale like this one."
Aaron quietly rejoined the group, but stayed silent while the others were protesting.
"If this is the Gambler," He remarked to himself quietly, "I feel like we shouldn't be questioning stuff like this yet."

Wait what?"My name is Lucia, and the powers I hold have an origin as extraor..."
"Cut it" said a man dressed in multiple layers of clothing head to toe. Because the ski mask he wore all you could see were his piercing brown eyes. His look and voice were commanding, and from the little of his mannerisms and characteristics that were shown, he seemed familiar, although it was hard to know why that was.
"Excuse me?" Lucia answers.
"I said cut it. Am I the only one here with an actual functioning brain? For all her talk, she has yet to technically win an actual duel. Does no one else wonder why that is?"

Fiora gave the man in ski mask a nervous look. He was even more frightening than Lucia.
"I... I don't know what you means. Isn't Exodia a technical win?"
Where there's life, there's hope."It is a technical win, but you can´t win if you were never in a duel to begin with. All she did was show her hand, but thus far not a single duel disk was turned on. Strange don´t you think?" he explains.
Lucia gives a sly smile.
Fiora looked down at her own duel disk. She realized that it had not even activated yet. She also realized that she had not even drawn her cards yet. Fiora drew six cards, just to see what she would have gotten.
Where there's life, there's hope.Fiora got a standard hand, obviously nothing that could beat Exodia, but she could have made plays.
"And why does that matter? I didn't turned on my duel disk cause I knew I'd win, why go through all that trouble?" Lucia said, shrugging.
“If that’s the case...why don’t you Duel her, O man of mystery?”
Chase tilts his head at the masked man.
“Or could it be you yourself fear her own power?”
"I fear NO ONE. But at the same I won´t reveal my identity because of a meaningless taunt, I´ll reveal my deck when the time is appropriate" he says a bit insulted. "There is no unbeatable strategy, and this charlaton´s attempts to make it seem like there is only show that she´s not a worthy enough challenger to sacrifice my anonimity"
"Is that so?" Says Lucia, more amused than anything else.
"So," Aaron interjected, "Uh, Lucia, are with the Gambler or something?"
Wait what?"Oh, no. I am a duelist seeking to make the climb, I don´t think anyone here has met with the Gambler before"
The stranger in the mask seems react for a second, but he quickly returns to normal.
"But I must say, this is all very interesting! The drama of it all surely has made the whole trip worth it"
"May... maybe." Fiora stuttered. "It... depends on what cards I draw, and whether you draw a certain card in your hand."
Come on, Maiden, sound more confident.
Easy for you to say. I'm not a ten-foot tall superhero.
Where there's life, there's hope.
