I'm interested, what's the character sheet going to look like
Here's a Godmodder. Please Kill him before he fucks up everything. https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=15527074470A62989200Instead of traits and skills, just using the twelve skills and having players assign values from 80 to 20. When making a roll, you roll a D100. If you roll over your skill value, you fail. If you roll your skill value or below but above half your skill value, you have a minor success. If you roll half your skill value or less but above one fifth your skill value, you have a major success.
Depending on how difficult a task to do is, you might need a major success or even a critical success in order to succeed. If a task is possible, a critical success will always succeed.
Example: You have a throwing skill of 70 and are in a small room with a small ventilation duct in the ceiling. A grenade drops into the room, with the pin already removed. I tell you that throwing the grenade back up into the ventilation duct will require a critical success, throwing the grenade out the door only requires a minor success or better. With a 70 skill: Rolling 100 to 71 would be a failure, 70 to 36 would be a minor success, 35 to 15 would be a major success, and 14 to 1 would be a critical success.

Here's a Godmodder. Please Kill him before he fucks up everything. https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=15527074470A62989200Approved I'm thinking of adding four more skills, so far have come up with: Occult Knowledge, Library Research, Magic Use, and Find Hidden. What do you think?

Interest check - Who would be interested in a Call of Cthulhu / Paranoia fusion RPG?
Discussion thread: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=15629190440A22068700&page=1#1
Game thread: NOT STARTED YET
Setting: Alpha Complex is a massive
arcologyunderground city run by an AI known as Friend Computer. All the humans living in Alpha Complex are genetically engineered beings born in 'cloning vats' and then programmed with basic skills before being decanted. You will be playing as a group of people newly promoted to trouble shooters, selected to locate trouble within Alpha Complex and then shoot it. The system I plan to use is a mash-up of the Call of Cthulhu 7th edition and Paranoia 5th edition, where I will be using the skills from Paranoia but the dice roll system of Call of Cthulhu. I will be keeping the rules EXTREMELY light, and will make sure you don't need to know either of the two systems to play. Be aware you may face up against eldritch horrors armed only with your grit, determination, and Alpha Complex issue laser pistol.Edited by Nodrog on Jul 13th 2019 at 5:32:08 AM
