"Wait", Carl said then looked in whatever direction the voice had come from. "Okay, talk."

???: Alright. So, to make it short because I know you all want to get out, basically I work for a company which is running a psychological experiment. We want to find out how you'd navigate through a hotel as big as this, so we picked out random people.

Thing is, we found out you guys have powers, which turned out to be even better. All you need to do is find the hotel's one exit and escape.

"Wait, that's it?"

???: Yeah. You're all free to explore.

A blast of static could be heard, and the voice and music disappeared.

Steph wanders in a random direction, towards the left as she finds another entrance. "Hey, I think I found another entrance here..."

And suddenly, through said other entrance, a redheaded teenage girl rushes in.

Upon seeing the gathered group, she stops abruptly. "...Oh...so THAT's where everyone else was...Well, at least I know that "The Brit"'s not lying—at leat about that. I'm not one to trust random voices without any reason." She pauses. "...Well, except in Breath of the Wild, but that's a video game. And even then, an exception..."

Looking around at the confused faces, she trails off. "...And I'm rambling. Well, there goes any chance of pretending I'm sane...Anyways, I'm Lily. Who are you guys?"

"Christine Lance. Also known as White Siren. Believe me, I'm just as confused as you are. And I can't even use my sonic cry to break us out of here."

"And I'm Steph, I sure hope the hotel doesn't emulate my Mental World at some point in time?"

"Sunada McGann. Nice to meet you."

"Carl.You're in luck. We were just about to move out."

"So, Carl, Steph, Sunada, and Christine. Nice to meet you guys!" Lily grins, but then frowns slightly. "So...this room I just came from? You...might want to prepare yourselves...It's...well, just...if you start to float, it's not my fault, okay?!"

Steph is definitely prepared for anything!

Carl Looked at Lily. "Is there any reason we should go into that room? Or should we just cross it off the list and go somewhere else?

Lily shrugs. "Well, I was honestly too distracted by the mysterious British voice—that I still don't trust, by the way—and the fact that I was in a mysterious hotel, and the fact that I was somehow defying gravity, and...also I was singing Defying Gravity...to notice...I can go back in and check if you'd like—"

"You're a singer as well? Huh." Christine shrugs. "I used to sing a lot more than I do now. But either way, I don't fancy the idea of floating endlessly with no control over it. How did you manage to escape?"

"Well...Let's just say it involved grape-flavored bubble gum, about three pairs of socks, and a whole lot of cotton. And don't ask about the cotton...Yeah, I'm pretty sure that there's not anything of note in there...at least anymore, now that I think about it..." Lily looks abashed as she finishes. "Let's just keep looking..."

"...what about that way?"

Sunada gestured towards a completely white door.

Christine screams at the door.

"What? For all we know, it might have been locked."

Steph is interested in the door, "Isn't that the door to a certain zone? Only one way to find out! I'm bashing that door down!"

"Maybe try just opening it first?," Carl asked. "And unless you're a lot stronger than you look I might be the better choice for breaking things."

"Wait, this is the door to the Twilight Zone?" Lily is confused. "Huh, I thought that was at the Hollywood Tower Hotel. In Disney...I love that ride...And, Sure, Carl I'm fine with you giving it a try. Steph? You okay letting Carl handle this?"

"Yes, I'm ok with letting Carl handle this," Steph remarks casually.

"You do realize my cry should've knocked the door down, right?"

"Yeah, that scream was definitely in 'Make Me Wanna Shout' territory (My ears are still ringing...). But then again, nothing here seems to make sense, and we're only two rooms in!... Well, one room for you guys, but you know what I mean..."

"Let's try something radical first," said Carl and will try to open it normally. If that doesn't work he will give it a savate kick and if that doesn't work he will use his cutlass with the monomolecular edge.

...and it opens normally, leading to a hallway.

"I'll take point, if no one minds. Siren could you get behind me as backup?," Carl said then went into the corridor, sword drawn.
